mikhail (Sep 16, 2004)

lucy_430 (Sep 18, 2004)
lol. Yeah, sorry about that... I didn't think you were coming back.
Cordelia_Pink (Feb 20, 2005)
iQué bueno! that dragon is awesome. This makes me think of a scene in Shrek where Shrek and Donkey go to rescue the princess and they meet up with the dragon and they try to run from it. Pretty cool.

DOOD! Have you ever put peeps in the microwave?!! It's fun. They get, like, as big as a football. They taste pretty good roasted, too, to the point where the sugar gets all carmelized and the marshmallow get all gooey.... *reminisces*

Nice picture. ^__^
Fin_beast (Mar 11, 2004)
That looks like that fizzy slush thingies you can get from places in the summer.
They are really nice!

If I were a cat I would be my cat Peaches because she is the most beautiful kitty I have ever loved.

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 11, 2004)
But, Axil...., I wasn't joking..... ;)
two-na (Mar 11, 2004)
I also have a dog, who is such a beautiful dog! She is a Great Dane and I love her to pieces(I chop her up and cook her all the time!) OMG yes ^O^ Now after seeing Axil's glass drawllllling I must indeed draw the wuff-wuff to follow up the meow-meow, if you catch my drift(drifting ever so slowly down a river somewhere)

oh yeah and thanks everybody, if there is anything you have to say....
fleeting_memory (edited Mar 14, 2004)
ooo I kinda like this-its very modern artish...butt the shading on the nose bugs me a lil but I like the colors you used. Sheesh all these non-cat people-how sad, cats rock you poor people are just deprived, don't get me wrong I love puppies too but cats are my babies! *eeeeeeeee* *stands between DBA and a cat she is about to shoot*

the sword was difficult. it is supposed to be..um..at the same angle as the handle. i guess you could say its parallel to the handle, but stuck in it. suggestions? (even though i can't change it)
Gigandas (Mar 10, 2004)
Yeah, I saw that too, Marcello. But I figured someone else would bring that up anyways, so I wouldn't bother mentioning it^^;.But other than that, I don't see any really obvious problems.
dixielandcutie (Mar 11, 2004)
oh very nice. i love the little 'bang' at the bottom. colors are awesome too. nice.
fleeting_memory (edited Mar 14, 2004)
I'm guessing Fantastic by Method_3 was your inspiration then? Haha this is very nice-the sword is a lil weird but I love the brightness of his red sash and the lil bit of green that contrasts the darker colors of his cloths and skin-the circles under his eyes make him look mad and tired-I would not want to get in his way

lol I love this!! one of these days I'm gonna ask you to tell me how that tool works... (and the select tools..what the heck do ya do with those..) this is very clever! and its cool looking!
fleeting_memory (Mar 10, 2004)
This is so friggin sweet-first its an awsome concept and second that's like a totally cool way to portray it-I love it-finish soon!
thug (Mar 11, 2004)
I have been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Excellent idea for a drawing, I love the straw and cup with the slurpy. You know when you suck out the juice and the ice whitens and then it is hard to get the rest because it lost its liquidity(hope that's a real word)? One of my friends called this slurpy phenomenon polarization. Just a bit of slurpy terminology for all the sluppy fans out there.
brushes4 (Mar 11, 2004)
hah! i remember! there was an old movie poster had a similar image to this... i knew i had it in my head from somewhere. anyway...thanks for the compliments. sigh. im so content. i'm smart enuff not to take a huge gulp of anything that cold OUCH! burnt my tongue on this darn hot coffee! }:(

ok, i really want to figure out perspective. if you could help me, i'd appreciate it. this might take awhile though. please don't delete it though, i promise it's going somewhere.

i would love some suggestions on it so far...the piano looks tilted. how can i fix that? and *roughly* does the person look ok? unfortunately i don't have my reference handy. hehe. so this is all from memory.

Dixie! I am so proud of you! You have come such a long way, baby! Your perspective turned out great, and the drawing is just great! I know how hard you worked on this and you learned so much while you were doing it.

Yes, sleep eludes me for long periods of time, which is why I draw all night here lately. And I know you aren't kidding about the hallucinations - it took between 4 and 5 days with no sleep before I had them, but boy is that scary. My name is not an acronym, it's Cindy. You can just call me that. I mean call me Cindy, not *that*. lol Your comment was very helpful, cheered me up, and the cowboy and I like the drawing much better this way. :)
alwaysLearning (Mar 11, 2004)
Thanks, Cindy, I'm pleased ta meetcha! :) I'm even more pleased that you found the comment helpful, and that it cheered you up. I know what it's like to have too many nights when sleep eludes you, and a friendly comment can make a world of difference to me, so I try to aim for saying something both friendly and useful.
FYI, my hallucinations tended toward the bizarrely entertaining, the sole convincing one being <flourish of trumpets> a cardboard box. It's a funny story, message me sometime when you're bored or need a laugh, and I'll tell it to you. :)

Wow! This is beautiful, DBA! I love the sunset sky! And, I think that the horse's shadow is sooo cute! ^_^

Of course it's obvious thug, and I always think you're funny. Umm, "Yeah, thug, man you're dense! Isn't it obvious I'm from New York?" lol Okay, I love my state. Can't help it.

Texas *shudder*
It's like being in a permanent heat wave, no I like it here in Illinois. Snow is good.
But Texas has made me entertaining. Yes, kids at camp are greatly amused by my Illinois/British/Texan 'accent'.

But About the picture. 'Tis lovely as always, wonderful shading, and the folding is amazing *yes*
