The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices -- to be found in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own -- for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
Rod Serling (1924 - 1975)

I believe he was one of the most creative geniuses of our time, and changed the way we view the world. This one is for the others who were knob-clicking, rabbit-ear adjusting kids who loved him like I did.

(I couldn't find any one reference picture that I was happy with, so I just sort of combined stuff I found)

Not the picture..it's amazing...

--to which I might add, that many ideas have died on the vine, cause, basically,"with wisdom alone you don;'t go to market."this guy needed a tv. network, and cash,or else the twilight zone would just be an idea in a notebook,in the trash. Even microsoft needed some money to get started. Its one of the main reason we "babyboomers"were so creative,in the 60's,the economy was good, there were jobs,ect.ect. We had the fuel. Gotta have the fuel. It'll be interesting to see what happens to creativity in this era,in the US,and the future;already reality shows on t.v. stink to the Heavens, ugh.TV has never been so bad.Reality shows cost less to make,no writers to pay.But tv stinks so bad,I rarely watch it. During the 60's,we had so much good tv, it was dizzying. sigh.Twilight Zone looks so good now.

Very nice, Kasha. Simple lines yet great muscle and skin detail with the shading and coloring.. good job. I like how the watercolor-y background washes over the actual subject. Nice effect. :)

I would have commented earlier but sometimes I feel like I'm just being redundant because you know how I love your stuff.
davincipoppalag (Jun 20, 2004)
Interesting look to this one miss Kasha.. He looks a bit effeminate to me because his back has that sort of graceful smoothness a woman might have (well except for the lady welders and high iron workers).

I was watching Chamber of Secrets for the first time and was actually surprised to see Jason in the film. *laughs to self* I thought the blond hair was striking on him so I managed to scrape out this pic from an image not even half of the size I drew it from. Gotta love those chilling eyes! *shivers* :D

Purdy picture Kasha, I like the sketchy-watercolor look you have to your drawings.

This style is very nice. Simple, yet expressive. It reminds me a bit of Aubrey Beardsley.

This is beautiful, Kasha. You have such a nice style. I like the pastels against the boldness of the black and white.
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
Beautiful work as always. Cindy, I think you would look nice with ANY color on your head.(the old guy always knows the right thing to say to heavily armed wimmens)

Holy.. I'm a bit in shock. Not so much because of the different composing items individually but because of the effect they generate when mixed together. Crazy stuff. I wasn't ready. The words "my virgin eyes" come to mind.

DinoFlorist (Jun 16, 2004)
great job. I like robots too, and I wanted to be like your last robot becsaue he seemed free from worry. Free from a job, free from disease, free from responsibility. But this robot's lilfe sucks. It makes me realize how lucky I am to be human!
Supergurl103 (Jun 18, 2004)
this is great, ark, good job, the skin on the human looks so robotic lol
purple_Llama (Jun 21, 2004)
