I thought I might have needed more space than on intermediate that’s y I posted here if any mods c this & think it’s crap feel free to move it...not much else to say...my hand hurts...*yawn* Edit: Ur right mazi light & shadow can make or break a pic. I went back & shaded the face a bit more. I think this came out pretty good considering that I’m self taught ^^. Thnx 4 the comments people XD |

excellent job on the texture on the statue. i don't know if you meant for the red to look like flame, but right now it's wispy and sketchy and thus looks more like motion-blurred photography of some red neon thing. the sword is pretty creative but looks unwieldy (perhaps a longer handle would help?) and the texture seems lumpy instead of shiny. i'm interested in seeing how this turns out.

Thanks for you comments and suggestions, Zack. I'm definitely going to change the sword, but the fire...well, I'm not going for any sort of realistic look...or any look in particular. I usually let my stuff "draw itself", heh.

yeah i think this one should be brought up a notch to stay on the advanced board. of course, it is still unfinished.I became tired of this old thing so it's now my little study of how light looks to the eye or something. Not like I'm trying to teach myself how to draw properly! (Oh my god her tit looks huge, but don't tell anyone, okay?)

aww i think its mean everyone makes fun of him. im pretty sure he hasnt been proven guilty yet. im not a big fan of his but hey.and for the record he had some skin disorder that made him white and his nose go all funny. vitiligo i think. google it if you want. im sure theres lots of pics/info.

Hi all! Im struggling to revise a collaboration and not getting very far, method 3 very kindly explained about updating java- which I did - but I still get error messages and the image wont open at all now- I do think its probably my true lack of knowledge of applets- However I have been able to amend another collaboration so I wondered if its just an error on the script on just that one collaboration? its called lifedrawing class thursday night... Ok I dont want to be precious about it, just to...

well its not happening to the rest of us, so it could possibly be something obscure with your java or browser. though i doubt it? sometimes that happens. im not really sure why. make sure your drawing is completely submitted before you do anything. and if youre really worried about it, take a screen cap (hit print screen on your keyboard and paste into an image program) |

This might have already been addressed but I was wondering when the documentation would be completed. (So its not under construction.) I know the mods have a ton of work just keeping this site in order, but I'm hoping that the documentation would help me (and probably others) a lot. Thank you!

I want to send a memo to a friend on the site to help with a collaboration- and if they dont want to join in then send another memo to the mods to delete the collab if no one is interested in working on it- I have opened up the memo box, gone to select a user, chosen the person- clicked OK- but nothing happens - what am I doing wrong please? I know the system works as I have recieved memos and also sent replies.... is it to do with bandwidth or something? thanks in advance for your help

anyone whos on livejournal ever see this community? i think its a really interesting idea. every week or so they post a new picture and the members of the community can draw and post pictures, all of the same original figure. its interesting to compare how different people view/draw the same image differently. wonder if we tried that on here if anyone would want to participate? ive always wanted to re-draw some other peoples ...

Naw...he was just flyin' along and got frightened by such a 'bigger' creature flying. That cape happens to be his 'recieving' (or baby) blanket. :) which is just for 'super hero' looks and security, btw. (He can actually fly without it)

i think you have great potential and could do a lot with a little more study on light/shadow. lighting effects can really make or break a pic.
