I used a reference pic for this, of course I don't have these in my backyard. Umm, as a matter of fact, I jacked this magazine from the lobby of a place in Fort Worth the other day because I saw this picture and I couldn't bear to leave him. :) The photograph is so cute that it made me smile everytime I glanced at it while drawing this, and if I captured even half of his cuteness, you should smile, too.

What a beautiful animal!! I could have sworn I had commented on this long ago, but I guess not. This is really a beautiful drawing, love the way the bear is laying on the ice...so darn cute.

– latest 4:I cleaned up some of the line art but I might wana clean it up some more. Any idea's on colour schemes? I thought maybe really reflective metal... Or maybe just Gradients of colours? You didn't ruin it. You overworked it a little. I know what you do... it reaches a point where it's great, but you don't see it yet, you look at it and think, but... it could be better if I just do this, and that, and pretty soon...you start to become frustrated and it's overworked. I actually still like v.2 the best. But I understand you, and I like you, and I like your art, and I like all the versions.

That's wonderful. As I was scanning through the Advanced Art and carefully (or rather, nonchalantly) criticizing each one, I stumbled upon yours. Truly wonderful, Axil -- I always admire your art. You have an amazing style -- Reminds me of Van Gogh (the circles compared to his wavy lines).

I should have added some other color to the purple side of his hair to make it the right color...Oh!i found a white spot on his black shirt!-goes to fix--comes back-Nevermind...you locked it.Oh well.Let's just say it's a bleach spot. |

awesome. the mouths not too bad, but i think the.. the.. teeth next to the canines? (i forget the names.. meah) are a teeny bit too small, even if they are behind the others. and i think the paleness is good, but she would still have shadows. like under the chin is the main part that needs more i think? |
