Wonderful job. The texture of the grass is lovely, but there 'is' room for improvement on this peice. Typically, if you leave a border like this white, it should be filled up with other things.. For instance, you could add little dim feathers here and there. Thick white borders are normally unattractive.

Wonderful job overall, however.

Yes,well,er..The reason for all the extra white-ness is because it's going on my web page,and the background is white so it'd looklike it would blend in.As for the compression,it totally killed it. x_x;

you should be shot for changing the mouse cursor over links. everyone who does that without good reason should be.
p.s.: the front page image background isn't white, it's kinda pinkish and doesn't match the background.

If the floor is really that shiny, there will probably be a fairly visible reflection of the figure in the floor, and the shadow would be less prominent. If not, then you would probably see more grain, and a "flatter" coloring with less white.

Poor thing, her shoes look new. You put them all carefully like that... but then you end up tearing them off. But broken-in shoes look ugly... haha

Laura, I love this picture. It reminds me of a work from my favorite artist, Edgar Degas. Look him up and check out his ballet dance peices. They're beautiful.
