alright, it's done, and i hate how it came out...is that called compression, that crappiness it gets after sending? cuz it looks terrible. can some dear, sweet mod move this to beginner, please?

tried a different way of doing the hair, to see if it looked better. and i tried different coloring on the skirt. i don't think the shirt looks too bad...c&c always appreciated.

The one thing I think you seriously need to work on is your coloring. AKA, blending them together. Other than that, this looks fine! You might want to read up on body poses as well (You know, for inspiration). I usually do that if I think my pictures are going stupid. =P Great picture (I love the focused/lost sort of look in her eyes. Like she's confused, but at the same time, really concentrating on something).

'Great' hair. Lovely idea. The only thing you might want to work on is body proportions (AKA, the way someone's clothing would look while on their body). =D Amazing job! I especially like the background effect you added. ;)

Now, on the actually pic; I think it's one of your better ones, and don't listen to dragon_girl's shit. I love the shading and color; very vibrant and eyecatching. the hair is slightly to far back on her head, and her arms are mildly spindly compared to the rest of her body, but overall, this is very good. Bravo.
