Was riding back today and there was this awesome sunset that I completely failed to capture. And damn the canvas still wasn't wide enough... plus I completely forgot the colors and composition by the time I got on lascaux.

I don't even know how many times I've come back over and over again to look at this since coming to 2Draw. I've been to Santa Fe a few times, and every time I just loooved this scene. It's absolutely beautiful. You really captured the beauty and luminosity of it very well. This is one of my favorites, since I've actually seen this myself.
marcello (Nov 16, 2004)
Actually, this is mainly albuquerque...
staci (Nov 16, 2004)
heh
Anna (Nov 16, 2004)
I stand corrected. Now thinking, I believe the times we go through NM, we passed through there at the crack of dawn. Still equally as beautiful.

I aged Seifer by 10 years or so...:D
Rather like how this one came out alot...the lighting here is meant to draw you
more to his face rather than to the gun in his hand...hope you all enjoy!

Hehe....you're missin' out davinci.Final Fantasy is an awesome series....well, for RPG lovers anyways.Just got to gamefaqs.com and it's usually ranked up at #1 on systems that any FF games play on.I know a lot of people here in LA that love FF stuff. It wouldn't hurt to play it once.....especially FF7.
bumpinthenight (May 25, 2004)
Very nice body... However, there is something a tad bit disproportionate about his face... I dunno... The eyes dont quite line up properly... Oh well... Really dynamic pose and view.... :)
LEELEE (Jul 18, 2004)

That's great, right outta the storybook and even better than the pictures I've seen of it! You rock girly.
Cordelia_Pink (Aug 18, 2004)
This looks like the animation in James and the Giant Peach movie. This would make a great film. lol Nice job. Hmm... I wonder where the white rabbit is...?

I can't believe that I'm barely seeing this one! I love it!! What a great idea! You two did great together :D
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 21, 2004)
This is so whimsical and funny. I think you two should write books and illustrate them. Reminds me of my vacation when I caught the first shark all the kids on the beach wanted to see his teeth when I came out of the water with him, so I had to pry his mouth open and let them look.
ironoxide_red (Jul 28, 2004)
Ooh! Better be sure the anaesthetic doesn't wear off too soon or that squid'll be in big trouble! Love the expression on his face. :)
LasRever (Apr 14, 2005)
This is great! A squid would probably make a pretty good dentist with all those long arms for those hard to reach teeth in the back.

Actually, I love Math, and his brother Logic. They are good friends of mine.

Once, my little brother left an extra-credit math puzzle in my car. It showed a large square made of smaller squares, each of which was a different size. It gave you only the size of the square in the middle and asked if it was possible to get the size of the whole thing (the proportions were intentionally distorted a little so that you couldn't use a ruler). I showed it to a friend who had already graduated and was teaching high school math, and he said it wasn't possible. But I persisted that it was, and figured it out a few weeks later.

I'm flattered that this reminds anyone of Icat's work. It was just a doodle before I went to bed. Maybe soon I'll do a "for real" sky.
staci (Jul 18, 2004)
whatchoo talkin bout willis?
this is a very 'for real' sky...
the tree has great form and detail; in my opinion it couldnt get any better, even if you spent 3 hours on it
its very painterly and quickies are the best sometimes
LEELEE (Jul 18, 2004)
I love this!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 18, 2004)
I love this. I still like to lie lay on my back (whatever) in the grass or on the beach or wherever and look at the clouds. My daughter and I think this looks like you are in the mountains and looking up at the clouds. I have no idea where Dino got math out of that, but I hate math. Strange thing is I always like ppl who are good at it, though. Wonderful picture.
