That bird must have every primary and secondary color in it. I've never seen one like it.

I don't think we have the painted ones here, just the indigo buntings that are all that bright blue. This one is very pretty.

This is just beautiful. LOL....it seems so innocuous that this is the first pic I see by a thug. Maybe you could give the bird a knife or something so he looks tough....I can see he already has his "colors"....Very nice.

Thank's everyone. It is a Painted Bunting, just like the title says. I see them in South Carolina when we travel to the beach. The female is mostly yellow, but the male glows he is so colorful.

go for it! The Indigo Bunting is an awesome bird. Some of the warblers are spectacular too.
