hmm... Eheh, the title says about everything there is to be said.
But -why- do I put myself through the anguish of Grass, and furry things? Eeek.

(No, gosh darnit! The Feather Mark is -not- redundant!... hmpf)

Aww it looks like cow cranes or something! pretty! I like the birdies (is that what they are..the furries?)
Harmanye (Sep 6, 2003)
Feathers actually, two :) One dove and one crow, which is why I argued with myself about my Feather Mark being redundant.
Very Large Feathers. Copyrighted... well, no, not really.

The grass was simple but brain draining as it was just doing the same line over and over again sometimes witha different colour, I shaded a 'flat' plane (although it curved to accomadae a wee bit o' waterfall), then when over it with the lines one or two shades lighter than the ground beneath them... aw 'eck, watch the animation, 66; me no can talk, very late, yesss preciousss.

Thanks for all your comments, anyway ^_^

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but there is no animation! If not where is it?

Oh, pretty. The nose looks great, but I think the eyes could use a little more depth. Lips are nice too. ^^
Harmanye (edited Sep 6, 2003)
Very pretty :) quite delicate looking, like a china doll.
A very nifty nose, I've always found straight-on noses hard to do, and the eyes are something marvelous, as is everything else ^_^

Is that timer believable? Eee... that makes it all the better ^^;
Marienkind (Sep 6, 2003)
eeeh. it's very soft, and the hair looks great. it kind of looks like she has a cold.
SuzieSuze (Sep 26, 2003)
I love this! she looks so soft and delicate

Marienkind (Sep 5, 2003)
the light looks fine, don't wory about that.
...mismatched eye colors are the shiznit. o.o
Harmanye (edited Sep 5, 2003)
eeee! Purdy :) hehehe (Caffeine, yes. Don't mind it, I've very normal on the inside, and golden fluffy on the out- oh...)

The, ah, eyes. Yeah, the eyes are a little off becase one is higher than the other, but oh well, pfft.
The hands are amazing, as is the hair and the shading.
For the light, if you want to do more with is, perhaps low opacity water 2 brush on a separate layer, pale white-yellow, more opaque around the engery(?) ball; fading as you go farther away. Yeah, well, if you understood that; more power to you. ^^;

Very, very good overall though! ^_^ Teehee.

No Dragon_girl... Rouge the -bat-... this makes her a bat 'gal'...

Anyway,it looks great :) I like the face especially, rather surly, just like her.
raenboe (Sep 4, 2003)
Porportions are a little off, but this is actually pretty acurate otherwise! Rouge rocks.
method3 (Sep 4, 2003)
ok, so my question is how can the proportions be off if it's some kind of bat furry thing? and about the picture itself, it'd be nice to see a background on this other than a few scribbles and filles and stuff.
raenboe (Sep 5, 2003)
Well, since I own the game (awesome game, BTW ;P) I know what she looks like. There aren't many off proportions either. The boots are kinda short and chubby, and her face looks a tiny bit strange, although I can't grasp what it is. Good job, otherwise! :)

I can't even begin to tell you how long I spent in front of a mirror trying to get that position right...and it still looks all wrong. *Growls*

I think I'll call him Zel Spiegel! Yeah! ...And now I'm going to bed before I do something else strange and frightening like this.

ameraq - more critique stuff. makes people better ne?

and the bg could use some work (shi painter has 3 layers good for line, color, then bg)

heh go zel
Harmanye (Sep 4, 2003)
Actually, Shi-painter has (near?) unlimited layers, just copy a blank layer, the most I've used is twelve.

Blue, blue is always good, blue hair, blue clothes, blue blue blue, he does look a little slouchy though; too much curve in the shoulder, methinks, but whatever. He is blue. ^_^

Oh pretty! The shading is wonderfully 3d, though the yellow could use just a tad of dark around the edges :) It's a pretty flower, and a gorgeous colour.
I like. ^_^
Ameraq (Sep 3, 2003)
ooooh, prettyness!
love the shading on the petals. ^_^ . The bg is awesomely blue, too.

Really.

Doggy! ooo... o_O

Loving the eye. I like the sharpness of the angles on this, very nice indeed, and the sketch-likeness ^_^
Merulotte (Sep 1, 2003)
*still has a bit of trouble with finding the Add Comment link*
I remember going to a PaintChat where we all drew Anubises. (Anubii?) Jackal heads can be easy or hard, depending on how you draw them.

The lines are nice, and just sketchy enough. The way it was colored is also nice; as you never blurred it, giving it a more textured look. ^_^

Awww! *pets it* so cute!!!! The ears are cool and the fully little symbol below the eye! I like the gloweeness of the eye too. The texture on the coloring/shading looks really good. ^_^ *thumbs up* Awsome job!

Monster Fluff is actually a vegitarian ... but due to it's size which like twice the size of a normal fluff ... the little fluffs r always terrified from it ^_^
only ONE fluff is brave enough to stand up to the Monster Fluff ..... which will be the subjecy of my next Fluff art :)

i rushed this one ..but i hope u guys like it :)

Oh, another Fluff! These still maintain their cuteness, and gain some in other ways.
Wonder what the brave Fluff that stands up to Monster is like... *can't wait to see it*
amuy (Aug 30, 2003)
Aww the fluffs! THey're so cute, like little cotton balls with googly eyes! awww I like the shading, its so nice and soft!
Harmanye (Aug 30, 2003)
Fluff! Ehaha... poor little fluff fell over... yes they still exude cuteness, one finds it hard to be scared of them.
Lovely colours, very unobtrusive shading :) You get so much emotion out of those antennae :)
concannon (Aug 30, 2003)
Eeeee. Can I have the purple/blue/lilac one pleeeeeeeaaase? *puppy eyes*

Great job. ^^

Well, I was kind of considering a Dog anthro, and an artistic Doberman seemed alright. So I drew what came to mind... I guess it turned out okay, but the head shape could most certainly be better... Now, as for a name... Hmm. I'll think of one. *begins scribbling*
Comments and/or criticism are most definately welcome...

Well, I think mommy would be mad at me if I dyed the dogs hair green... We don't even have a dog, so she'd be really mad if I stole is for the sole purpose of dying it green...

Anyway, I think the main problem with the head is the snout... which is taking up most of the head anyway, the nose is pointing at a weird angle and the whole snout itself should be moved a little to the dogs' left, and possibly re-angled.

On the general body, I know it's an anthro, but Dobermans (Dobermen?) are usually sleek, this guy 'ere is like a Doberman on steroids or something.

I like the glasses though, that's a graet touch, an I'm also rather liking the shading on this, and the background :)
Merulotte (Aug 29, 2003)
Oh, alright. I should have done a bit of research, then... Now I feel all stupid. Thanks. :D
But seriously, thank you for the information... I'll put it to use if I actually USE this character, as I was thinking of a Ferret to be a better one...
I think I should stick to reptiles and the like. o_o
concannon (Aug 29, 2003)
I think this is pretty neat, actually. I dig the green hair, I really do. The glasses, too.

By the way, Merulotte, I sent you a memo with two links to doberman anthro pics from VCL. I hope they help. ^^
raenboe (Aug 30, 2003)
I like the eyes and his glasses! I totally dig that background! It goes great with the picture and you made it look like real paint splotches!
