lol, this reminds me of that X-files episode where a guy/woman grabs the heart out of a guy/woman. This looks like what happens after he/she gives her the heart and now he's after this girl :P. Funny idea here. I like the whole confused look on her face ;).

This makes me cringe...cause not too long ago, in anthro class, we watched this video on this cultural thing where a guy gets crucified; and yes, they zoomed in on the palm and showed them driving a large nail into his palm :(.As for your efforts, I think this turned out pretty well :). I mean....it did make me cringe, right? lol...(I know I know, you're probably gonna say something like, "you could have covered your eyes during the video..." but I just couldn't look away, bleh) Anyway, I hope you had a nice Easter yourself :). Glad to see you drew some more...

The nails on Jesus' went through his palms but in normal curcifixions, which they did many times in various histories (Roman, Greek, etc.) the nail traditionally went through the wrists and ankles. Or so i've read. The shading looks weird and the blood kind of looks like ribbons but it's better than i could do. So kudos.

hey did you know judas may have not been all that bad? =]there's a gospel of judas that was found and they restored it and it was 13 pages long. it says that judas was asked by jesus to do all that stuff. and no I'm not christian or anything. I barely know anything about the religion. I learned this in my "myth magic monster and mystery" class. we watched a documentary on this. I'm buddhist kthnx. christianity and other monotheistic religions confuse me.

Yay, FM placed 3rd! *huge smile*I'm so proud of ya :). I mean, you put in the effort and it payed off. I'm still amazed at those rings just below the mouthpiece. You know, you should do a picture with several brass and woodwind instruments! You know you could do it if you can draw a flute this well ;) (well, there is the patience issue, but I still think ya can :). Congrats!

Love this drawing.... nice texture....a couple of my friends play the flute....(violins are sooooo much better :P Fred teh 2nd (meh violin) rocks my Irish socks!!!!)

Awesome little flute number! I like the frosted look; Very rare as far as flutes go, but easier to keep looking clean. (I sold one of these to someone once...) I also love how I kin tell how the keys work by looking at this picture! Faaantastic! |

Why haven't I come back to comment on this since it was finished (probably cause I got sick and forgot about the contest, but that's no excuse)??? That's 50 lashes for me.This turned out great though! The wings really stand out with its metal texture :). I think the frame still puts it all together really well in making it look like an 'official' card. I'm hoping this one wins....! :D

I still stand by what I said about them looking 'yummy'. I like how you didn't only use highlights, but you also used those darker shades of red that really add to the 3D roundness to them. You should be proud of this! You did a GREAT job :).

Oh hey! I didn't see this.I see you're practicing some anatomy here :). Looks pretty good. Just a little advice, but like in that right arm, you might want to round up the muscles to give it more sense that they are in fact, muscles. Definitely not a bad attempt though :).(Hehe, Michelangelo and orange..... :P)
