Bright Idea
DeadlyBlondeArcher
(Jul 27, 2004)
I forgot to buy light bulbs at the grocery store yesterday and today I was thinking I'm completely out of ideas for creative or interesting subject matter to draw here, and so this is what I came up with.

1. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 2. In 1979, the U.S. embassy in Iran was taken over by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 3. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 4. In 1983, the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40! 5. In 1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old American Passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 6. In 1985 TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a U.S. Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 7. In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 8. In 1993 the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 9. In 1998, the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 10. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take out the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 11. In 2002 reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and murdered by: Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40 Nope, .........I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allow! ed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning former Governors, and leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 & 40 alone because of profiling.

Lol.. Me or the Bird..
evil_cloud (May 17, 2004)
welll... er the bird
Erewin (Jun 17, 2004)
Nice sense of realism in the feet, and I like the decorative effect on the wing. It's like he's crouching after fluffing his feathers, the way birds always do.
Cordelia_Pink (Jul 30, 2004)
oohhh... it looks like a real painting drawn in oil pastels or something. looks really cute! =) good job |

Mine always got stuck and wouldn't come out when I cranked that handle thingy and I had to pry open the box and I hated him so I pulled him permanently out so he was Jack out of the Box and so this one doesn't have a handle. That reminds me, my "See and Say" toy with the animals always mooed on the cat and barked on the duck and stuff and then the string would get stuck and it wouldn't do anything and this is what happens when you have to put a description on every picture.referenced a photo of a toy
JackSprat (Jul 27, 2004)
This is so cute, and so nicely done! It looks three dimensional, and you've captured the felt so well. More aminal cookies for you.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 27, 2004)

mx (Jun 25, 2004)
He does look lonely and hopeless...I like the fact that uve used b&w for the pics in the backround, making it stand back from the colour of his face. Thank the Lord there is hope go well (ps. and nice style) mx
Turtlebuster (Jul 28, 2004)

The second day we were there the tide washed in huge blankets of brownish seaweed and pieces of driftwood that covered the shore. I fished most of the time and caught sharks and blue crabs... while fishing one day I had to ditch my pole and save a 5 yr old girl from drowning...her mother wasn't even down on the beach and no one was watching her. whew. Thought I would have 2 draw withdrawal while I was gone, but I had so much fun I didn't miss this at all. Going back in August. :)
Supergurl103 (Jul 20, 2004)
wow, this is a pretty shore, love it so much :)
laurael (Jul 22, 2004)
Great picture here....gives me a feeling of being there.Wow...you 'shark' fish too? You are one tough chickee....would not like to piss 'you' off...might end up hogtied and hell, used for 'shark' bait or target practice...either one's not sounding good. Wait...you swam with dolphins?? I hate you. JK...heh heh. I'm glad you had a good time and it was a good thing for that little girl that you were around.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 22, 2004)
lol laurael... the sharks we catch are just baby ones. (And they are totally delicious) You do have to swim out through kinda deep water to these sand bars where you can touch again, and they swim around really close to you. Every once in a while a larger one is spotted, but it's not scary. That is how the little girl (I just found out she was 7, not 5) almost drowned, she was trying to get out where we were.
gloworm043 (Jul 29, 2004)
Awesome picture as usual Cindy. Obviously, I've missed something while cruising around in 2draw. I knew you were going on vacation but I didn't know where. Sounds like you had a good time...:) |
