the sword was difficult. it is supposed to be..um..at the same angle as the handle. i guess you could say its parallel to the handle, but stuck in it. suggestions? (even though i can't change it)

Yeah, I saw that too, Marcello.But I figured someone else would bring that up anyways, so I wouldn't bother mentioning it^^;.But other than that, I don't see any really obvious problems.

Haha this is very nice-the sword is a lil weird but I love the brightness of his red sash and the lil bit of green that contrasts the darker colors of his cloths and skin-the circles under his eyes make him look mad and tired-I would not want to get in his way |

i'm not sure exactly where i wanna take this yet...EDIT: i decided to put a bit of fantasy into a robotic / technological world. thats all the description i can muster. trying to make it look rusty...i may take the rust off though....
i wanna fix the shadow, but i'm not sure that i'll have enough memory to do it...lets see.
EDIT: nope, i don't. so yeah...i'm gonna leave it like this then.

ohhh thanks for the suggestions, peeps. this was a sort of practice with light and shadow. i think i'll do another silhouette pic, taking into account everything you guys said. yay for constructive criticism! ^__^

it's already an awesome image, like the mood and the composition. one thing i might suggest if you want to work on this further is adding a little light coming through the blinds, like red sunlight or something, then you could add some details but still keep it shadowy. but really nice all the same :)

Hmmm...yes, my first drawing on the new 2draw will be an angel. Its like 1:31 am, so obviously there will be some kinks I need to work out. Oh, the type tool isn't working. Maybe I'm using it wrong? can anyone help me? Gahhhh...somethings bothering me about this...hopefully its something that can be worked out in color. Can one of the moderators grant me some more space to finish this pic please? I beseech thee. I cannot leave it uncompleted. Thanks ^_________________^ one more thing... Looking good so far! welcome back.as for the text tool, it uses your current brush (eraser, blur, etc.) to draw the text, so if you're not in paint brush mode, it won't do what you might expect. There are advantages though (being able to erase or blur with text instead of freehand). Also, for the crispiest text, use a 1x1 brush, but you can get interesting effects if you play with that as well (for example, text shadow). And last but not least, I highly recommend using java 2 if you aren't, because java 2 supports any font you have installed which is a lot better than the default 3 or so ones.
