Real time - 3 hours 5 minutesTried to go with the temple theme, but after a few sketches didn't come up with something I liked, so I said.. Eh, pillar, forest in background, viola! XD I don't think she looks right with her background, she's too 'vibrant', as it were, though I fiddled with it a bit to try and make it look better, dunno if it worked... Not altogether happy with this, but better luck next time eh? WEll, she looks nice.. and the background looks nice.. but they don't exactly look nice together...

^^ thank'ee very much.. I'm not too fond of the shading on the purple part of the dress, but I suppose it's decent for the beginners board... I've got to do more of Issy... I love her outfit.. oh, drat, reminds me, I forgot some things there we go

Well. It's a Black-footed ferret and a mouse, kinda hanging in midair for now. I'll probably add a background eventually, but right now I don't have the stamina to add one. Why? I'm using a mouse at the moment, and it's agonizingly slow for me to detail anything. :) But I'm happy with how the ferret turned out, atleast.

what a coincidence! I have four ferrets and my sister decided to draw a black-footed ferret! http://cellosoft.com/2draw/view/50644/ Squirrels are still my favorite animal though.... btw my sister says that one, the whole tail shoud be colored not just the tip. Two, the whole legs should be shaded, and three the ears need to be colored....anyway welcome to 2draw...

I'd fix the coloring, but I've already joined the layers. :) Thanks for the comments, though. I have difficulty with coloring on this applet. Truth be told, this looks more like a ferret x Siamese cat cross, but yeah. XD

For this to be posted on the Intermediate Board, you would need to add deeper shading to make the characters more 3-d (three or four shades of each color, at least), as well as refining your line-art a bit more to make the pic appear more clean and professional. In addition, you'll be amazed at what you can do if you spend a little more time on each picture.The 18+ rating is reserved for explicit nudity, violence, etc. This is a very cute scene, and should be rated Everyone. Try looking at pictures by artists that you admire, and focus on how they work with shading and composition. Try not to take it so personally, everyone starts out in the Beginner's board.
