I think we should develop a new way to moderate everything. With all this drama about the beginner board, I really feel like it's time to take action. Make more moderators. Enforce a time limit. Do something. Please? I'm not terribly displeased with anything here, but it irks me a little bit. It's also seeing someone like Knockoff get fed up with it and the insuing moronic internet arguments that follow every time someone mentions something about it, though. My opinion on the entire ...

personally I think drawings with/of blood are way overdone, especially among younger artists. This would probably work better if it were smaller, since you haven't included many details you would be able to see if you were this close to a person or if a picture of someone was this large.

intersting thought but a little more work should go into this. Neverfear! You still have a lot of space left over and you can still go in and revise. Things to focus on would be the blood and the hair. Both have come across very flat. Don't be afraid to use the blur tool to help you shade. Keep going I know you can do it :) |

its in the woods were this creature lives out in the dark a human searches for unknown knowledge of terror in the midle of the shivering wind of the woods were no man has gone before not dared to he goes deeper and deeper as he finds himself in a I'll finish later for know.finally Splits come back can you see what ive drawn?there is snow on the ground didnt come out good or that good.I was trying to make some fog on the ground but i couldnt so i just drew snow and on the trees.

Try adjusting the Opacity and Flow options on your brush to get softer lines. I can see how the white on the trees would be snow, and that's one of the things I thought of before reading the description, but I think if it were softer and didn't have such sharp edges then it'd look more like that and less like you just didn't finish the green.

i guess your right but how is it that you find this Opacity and flow this board is only for beginers?

well this is a beginner's board, there's nothing wrong with that, I'm just saying that one way to improve would be to use your tools in different ways. I noticed you drew this in Lascaux, and the options for opacity and flow in that drawing applet are down in the lower right corner when you're drawing. |

I was doodling and then it started to look like him...it's a little off but I drew it pretty much from memory. Also, I don't do much cell shading so it might not look as good. And blackboards in Japan are green in case you were wondering.

I'm not familiar with the character so I can't say if it looks like him or not, but I think that the eyes look a little too angular to me. Since he looks like he's relaxing his eyes probably wouldn't pull that high up that sharply in the corners on their own. I think the cell shading on the face looks fine though, it just gets a little smudged in the hair.so... do they call them greenboards then? o_o

lol...greenboards XD I believe they call them 'kokuban'And cell shaded hair looks so plastic and I'm just not used to it I guess >_<

I think it'll look great, just be thinking of what to have for a background because I think it would be much nicer with one than without once you finish.changed the damn thing

I'm sure alot of you also are getting extremely annoyed by the numerous posts that have waaaaaaay too many " Kawai"'s or "OMGLOLROFFLEPOPSWTF!"'s included in them. cute! try make the tail more....no wait....imagine he's a cat, make the tail go with the expression which you have but make the feeling a bit more stronger however this rocks! better than my pictures online!
