I completely agree. There are a lot of beginners on here (yes they seem to be the ones drawing crappy anime-esque pictures). Yeah I keep reading stuff like "that is so kawaii!"
and other Japanese words/phrases they dont even fully understand.

lol hey Zach, I'm glad to know that many of you here have found that to be so unbearable and I'm glad you made this topic (no matter how pointless some people would say it is). I know a few Japanese words though and of course "kawaii" is one of them but I'm not about to just throw in that word at any given time when I see a "cute" picture. It just sounds really lame and vain because of the number of times it's been used. Through watching so many different anime shows, I would like to learn more about the Japanese language because it's quite interesting and the culture is so unique and intricate. I only know the common phrases like thank you, goodbye, good night, good morning, sorry and excuse me (and a few other words learned from watching anime shows lol). To me, the people who excessively use the word are hyperactive common words that are almost similar to saying "Cool!" or "Awesome! Wow!" instead of a more lengthy comment. lol Meh, I just find it a little to redundant, and a lazy way of commenting. I dunno. I hope I didn't sound a little rude to people, like I was insulting the japanese word "kawaii", it's just used so much, it's like I hear the word squealed in a giddy manner it's almost sickening. lol

That's because it was a pointless thread in the first place. If it annoys you that people like to say random Japanese words keep it to yourself. I'm sick of hearing people do nothing but complain and try to belittle other people because they are either younger, or just using words that are annoying or overused. Who gives a damn.
