Damn I love drawing random Anubis heads. They show up EVERYWHERE in my assignment books.

Really.

Doggy! ooo... o_O

Loving the eye. I like the sharpness of the angles on this, very nice indeed, and the sketch-likeness ^_^
Merulotte (Sep 1, 2003)
*still has a bit of trouble with finding the Add Comment link*
I remember going to a PaintChat where we all drew Anubises. (Anubii?) Jackal heads can be easy or hard, depending on how you draw them.

The lines are nice, and just sketchy enough. The way it was colored is also nice; as you never blurred it, giving it a more textured look. ^_^

Awww! *pets it* so cute!!!! The ears are cool and the fully little symbol below the eye! I like the gloweeness of the eye too. The texture on the coloring/shading looks really good. ^_^ *thumbs up* Awsome job!

haven't moused in a while, so i thought i'd give it a go. can't say i miss it, but in the end the tools can't be blamed for what the artist does.

Lookin good. Power to people who can use mouses (mice? mouses? is it mouses if you're talking about computers?) after a long period of tabletizing. *Wanders off with intent to draw something really insane...with a tablet*
Doodlibop (Aug 29, 2003)
You did that by mouse????

Girl, what are you doing in teh beginner section?
method3 (Aug 29, 2003)
i blame the mouse every chance i get. heheh, this would make a great user icon too, good job.

btw, just because you're drawing on the practice/beginner boards, doesn't mean you are a beginner. practice makes perfect after all.

I use a mouse and I like it! *huggles mousie*

Monster Fluff is actually a vegitarian ... but due to it's size which like twice the size of a normal fluff ... the little fluffs r always terrified from it ^_^
only ONE fluff is brave enough to stand up to the Monster Fluff ..... which will be the subjecy of my next Fluff art :)

i rushed this one ..but i hope u guys like it :)

Oh, another Fluff! These still maintain their cuteness, and gain some in other ways.
Wonder what the brave Fluff that stands up to Monster is like... *can't wait to see it*
amuy (Aug 30, 2003)
Aww the fluffs! THey're so cute, like little cotton balls with googly eyes! awww I like the shading, its so nice and soft!
Harmanye (Aug 30, 2003)
Fluff! Ehaha... poor little fluff fell over... yes they still exude cuteness, one finds it hard to be scared of them.
Lovely colours, very unobtrusive shading :) You get so much emotion out of those antennae :)
concannon (Aug 30, 2003)
Eeeee. Can I have the purple/blue/lilac one pleeeeeeeaaase? *puppy eyes*

Great job. ^^

Well, I was kind of considering a Dog anthro, and an artistic Doberman seemed alright. So I drew what came to mind... I guess it turned out okay, but the head shape could most certainly be better... Now, as for a name... Hmm. I'll think of one. *begins scribbling*
Comments and/or criticism are most definately welcome...

Well, I think mommy would be mad at me if I dyed the dogs hair green... We don't even have a dog, so she'd be really mad if I stole is for the sole purpose of dying it green...

Anyway, I think the main problem with the head is the snout... which is taking up most of the head anyway, the nose is pointing at a weird angle and the whole snout itself should be moved a little to the dogs' left, and possibly re-angled.

On the general body, I know it's an anthro, but Dobermans (Dobermen?) are usually sleek, this guy 'ere is like a Doberman on steroids or something.

I like the glasses though, that's a graet touch, an I'm also rather liking the shading on this, and the background :)
Merulotte (Aug 29, 2003)
Oh, alright. I should have done a bit of research, then... Now I feel all stupid. Thanks. :D
But seriously, thank you for the information... I'll put it to use if I actually USE this character, as I was thinking of a Ferret to be a better one...
I think I should stick to reptiles and the like. o_o
concannon (Aug 29, 2003)
I think this is pretty neat, actually. I dig the green hair, I really do. The glasses, too.

By the way, Merulotte, I sent you a memo with two links to doberman anthro pics from VCL. I hope they help. ^^
raenboe (Aug 30, 2003)
I like the eyes and his glasses! I totally dig that background! It goes great with the picture and you made it look like real paint splotches!

Right, this is as done as it's gonna get. -_- Took way longer than it should have, 'cause I was distracted with other things. Eh hehe.

Had no idea what to draw, so I just went with the random canvas size.

That shading is daaaamn sexy. Actually, even though it belongs on much better than beginner, I'm happy it's here. It makes the board look good for those of us who are stuck here for a reason. Hehehehe.
Snoozy27 (Aug 25, 2003)
*stares* Puurty. Lovely shading, especially!
mazi (Aug 25, 2003)

Cute :) I like the shine in the hair, very soft, though the poor girl could use a body. okay scratch what I said about the background, you revised it too fast, eek... :)

I aslo like the facial expression; very sweet.
quintessence (Aug 27, 2003)
Nice, clean lineart. Pen tool, I'm sure, but still. Background's nifty too... pixelish. Yum.

I can't express how little I want to go back to school on Wednesday...so I drew this dude to express it for me. He's counting the minutes on that blackboard, by the way. And that's only his first period class. Owch.

(Actually, I'm reasonably happy with how this came out. Especially that pen.)

I actually want to go back to school. It seems that when I am coming home at a later hour, I want to draw more, even if I may not get the picture completed...
The pen DID turn out quite nicely, as did the rest of the picture. I quite like the concept of it.
...But I still want to go back to school soon. ^_^
Harmanye (Aug 25, 2003)
Moments like these I am happy to be homeschooled :) That way I can sit around my house and be bored instead of in school...

I like the hair, I've gt a soft spot for blue hair (in pictures, in real life I think it looks stupid), blue anything for that matter, which is why I love the... pen... pennnn, must have pen... my pe- sorry, pen tool is getting to me, that thing is the best invention since the eraser...

:) I like very much! K.U.T.G.W
Marienkind (Aug 25, 2003)
yup, i don't wanna go back to school either. mine is cheap and underfunded and won't let me dye my hair blue.

that pen tool's banging everyone here... we are pen whores now.
dragon_girl (Aug 26, 2003)
