Great series! But how many times can a man get flattened in his lifetime? :P

I love how you never reveal the face of Larry's wife.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Feb 10, 2006)
So in this rendition of the story, shouldn't Gladys be the good witch of the North Trailer Park, instead of Glenda? She could add a few sequins to her turquoise robe and use a feather duster (or a flyswatter, whatever's handy) for her magic wand, you see. AND seems to me that Larry's haggly wife ought to be in charge of the flying monkeys this go round. uhuh. Everybody else (including Larry... gets to take a picnic lunch to Opiate Park (where the poppies grow, of course) where they get wasted on poppy fumes, while eating poppyseed cake. Meanwhile, Larry's haggly wife is busy tending the monkeys and he hooks up with this young chick that blew on over from the trailer park, as well. I think her name is Dorothy? Then Wanda shows up, and it's like a free for all between Gladys, Wanda, Larry's wife and Dorothy... that's when the poppies hit the fan, you see, and Larry wonders if the circus midgets from the trailer park can rescue him from the war zone.
Felistorm (Feb 11, 2006)
Ummm Has DBA been hanging out in the poppy field awhile? *giggles. :D I see some ideas in there. :D I am loving this series and always look forward to the next one. Love the little flowerpot. :P

This guy seriously reminds me of Sting from back when I used to watch WCW pro wrestling. They've got like the same hair, similar face make up (even black & white like this guy), and kind of the same face (not really, though). This guy is rather skinny though. So I guess he sorta looks like a skinny version of Sting, hehe...
Just the way you drew this gives off this 'extra' eerieness (I dunno if anyone else gets this, but it does). Maybe it has to do with the man being 3-dimensional, placed on a 2-dimensional background. I hope you keep it that way when this is completed.
Pseudonymous (Feb 12, 2006)
I don't know who this is. It's scaring me. Go back to drawing big boobed women. O_O

(Just kidding, Rich. It's wonderful as usual. But really. It is scary.) *runs off with her teddy bear and blanky to snuggle with her parents*
Drachnem (Feb 13, 2006)
I love this. Dark and twisted.
kristine (Feb 22, 2006)

This is beautiful... has a nice sense of movement. I like the pale spots in the trees in the background that make it look like sunlight coming through leaves.

oooh one of my favorites... had forgotten that, really... thanks :)
strangeoid (Feb 12, 2006)
One of my faves, too. Anytime! :)

My favorite part of this picture has got to be the detail in the glass - water stains, paint, dust, and reflections. Oooh and aaah.
frootcake (Feb 13, 2006)
i get a cold feeling, then a warm feeling <:) nothing stays the same
Satern (Feb 25, 2006)
The windows are really the bit that grabs me, they are really well executed they look like ones in my house just a lot cleaner :D the reflections on the candle flame are really good too, an easy detail to miss!

Sure, I have a fair share of hawt dudes that I like, but give me a girl who can kick ass and I'm an instant fan. I mean REALLY kicks ass. Not the 'OMG! Look! I'm a rebel/emo!' kind, but the 'I'll serve your head on a platter if you don't shut up, no questions asked' kind of kick ass. Yeah, that's cool.

...and I'm just another horribly geeky anime/sci-fi fan. -_-; *sigh*

Forgive me. I went the way of the generic wings. So, so unoriginal. I think I just ruined the whole thing. >_<
Zeal (Feb 10, 2006)
No.. the wings are cool.. I like them more than amost of those " too many details to crowd your screen" wings..
