When everything seems to go away
I can hear the silver call my name
Nothing happens when I pray, no
Nothing happens when I pray
No nothing gold ever stays

WOW, I adore the windows, and the candles are brilliant! :D

The candle reflections in that last pane are my favorite part of this.

Beauty full.
I think candles are very elegant and the window...
Basically it's gorgeous, the execution is excellent, and your choice of colors impeccable, and this is just the usual for you, DBA.
JoeNobody (Feb 9, 2006)
This is a very nice piece DBA.

"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."
- Robert Frost

oooh one of my favorites... had forgotten that, really... thanks :)

One of my faves, too. Anytime! :)

My favorite part of this picture has got to be the detail in the glass - water stains, paint, dust, and reflections. Oooh and aaah.
frootcake (Feb 13, 2006)

The windows are really the bit that grabs me, they are really well executed they look like ones in my house just a lot cleaner :D the reflections on the candle flame are really good too, an easy detail to miss!
