great picture. butonly one thing wrong, it is his left eyeball, way too far up, much too so. if you think of it like this, eyes run along a straight line, use a ruler to get the correct angle of where the eyes sits. |

Umm, I might offer a suggestion, you might try using either the airbrush or the watercolor tool and adjusting the opacity instead of using the halftone shading.(Unless of course halftones re your art style.)

I was experimenting with the water-color tool. Impressionistic style art with a lighthouse on a hill and a beach. Needs a little bit of help on the cliffs, and maybe I should just let everyone else criticize my art.

Marcello: It's a lighthouse, but I didn't make the drawing larger so that the top could be seen because there would be too much sky in the picture. I probably don't draw stuff quite clear enough because I'm near-sighted.

C&C? (I'll asume that means constructive criticism...) You might try lowering his cheeks and making his head more symmetrical.Also the nose would look a lot better if you drew a wide "v" and attached maybe a line on the shaded side. |

okay thanks for those of you that replied! pen tool... yeah i like the pen tool, at the most opacity, it's pretty good that way... watercolor using for coloring... i'm no good at lineart, and i was wondering if i could get some help, especially with using the watercolor tool for lineart. i can't seem to get the opacity (is that what it's called?) right so that i don't have to draw so many times to get the lines dark. another thing; out of curiosity, is the pen tool or watercolor tool, or even...
