Advanced board review will take place Wednesday June 9th, 2004! Due to recent lack of stringent moderation, the advanced board will undergo review starting Wednesday, June 9th. The intermediate boards may undergo the same type of review to be determined at a later time. Hopefully this review will reinforce the level differences in the boards. I've heard art schools frown on stuff that's painted from the imagination... call it lack of models or photographs.. maybe it needs a background, Criticizm?Looks pretty sad. (both emotionally and artwise...) I'm afraid that if I try to edit it again, I'll ruin it.. oh well... set to finished after trying to edit it...

I want to fix the hairline, the left eye, and a bit of shading one some of it, and I think that that is as sharp as I can make an image right now. |

Impressionistic style castle. looks like it's curving to the right. Started experimenting with the blue and orange after seeing a painting by Claude Monet.

hehe, you and DBA are drawing texas things. Sounds fun! I'll probably find something worth drawing in Houstonanyways the colors really do give off that old look. I really enjoy pictures with warm colors. THe windmill! I've lived in Texas all my life but I've never seen a windmill before. I probably have but I don't remember.

I just don't think it's good enough for intermediate yet, I need to be able to draw things with more clarity.Two fishing ships getting their last catch of the day as the sun sets. Reminds me of a painting I saw once, but I can't remember who painted it.

I'm not really finished, but because my computer with the tablet is down, I don't think I want to edit it anymore. (frowns and shakes head at the applett's trying to antialias the head on layer 1)
