Inspired by a landscape painting by an artist that goes by the name Godfrey. Believe me, his is a lot more elegant. Right now I'm going to take a break.I'm hesitant to place this on Advanced. . . . all the good artists intimidate me. Please tell me what you think.

Short in a geological/paleontological standpoint. Seeing as to a paleontologist 500,000 years ago wasn't far away at all 60-80 years is absolutely nothing. You have to go back a good 65 million years to get to the last dinosuars. Human life only seems long while you live it.

I'm just trying to shake this artist's block that has me by the neck. I started painting and this came out. He looks kind of angry . . . maybe it's because his hair sucks.

He does look a bit tired and bitter. It's a really nice blend of cartoon and realism. I love the lines around the nose chin and cheek.

Not much to say about this one. I have to do laundry now so I'll finish after that. It'll ba awhile. . . I have a lot of laundry and not enough quarters with which to do it. . . Oh well. Fixed the arm. ^__^
Hmmm. . . he kinda looks like he's about to pass out though. I'll fix that later. That is the LAST time I draw each individual feather! D:< My mouse hand is dead now x__x;;
. . . I wonder if angels have to preen like birds. . . Cleaning out my studio.
This one's really old. I colored this only really fast and didn't bother cleaning up the line art. Again, my lack of background talent is blatantly obvious.

I think this one is my favorite.I think this is as finished as it's gonna get. . . not that I have any hope of winning. I really like a lot of the entries. It'll be fun to see how it plays out. ^____^ Good luck to everyone who entered.

At least I'm not condemed to a pine tree. . .If the anatomy sucks, deal with it. I didn't use a reference. I really need all the space I can get. . . this is going to take a while to finish. TT____TT
Done. . . . it took me long enough.
I'm pretty happy with this one, though his head is too small. I like his neck, arms, and right thigh. Enjoy. ^___^

If half of your friend are rite, then your hot. if half of them are wrong your probally even cuter then this picture (and also becuase playing with your "belly butten" for very long time would be kinda wierd. and defenily not hot.) |

But Denethor rose and looked on the face of his son and was silent." From "The Seige of Gondor," Book V of The Return of the King, part III of The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R. Tolkien. I'd hate to do the MLA citation for that one. Anyway, this is my favorite scene from all of my favorite books. It's very well written. You start to feel for Denethore and he becomes more faceted. Don't get me started on the movie version. . . in my opinion they completely butchered this part. They replaced Imrahil with a bloody horse! *grumble grumble* Anyway, I'll spare you my diatribe. Denethor and Imrahil are next. Referenced from a drawing I did in one of my sketch books (it looks so much better there).

it looks good.. but your grays kind of blend together... kind of monotone... maybe adding more white to them?i dunno.. but i really love this and still think it looks like eisman's work. very nice. *hands cookies*
