ummm... this is kind of primitive too... some more action should be used.... fish dont jump straight up when they jump out of the water... he should be pointed slightly upwards to add movement.... and the water should not be a tiny puddle which the fish cannot even float upright in!! the splashing water doesnt look realistic either...

First, he's magical and can therefore float, and second, it's not exactly meant to be realistic, just a random thought that crossed my mind.

the purple/blue stuff are rain clouds, gathering just before sunset.i'm still working on adding a bit more definition to the sky and all. ok, can't work on this anymore since i reached the 100kb limit, but it's really too bad that you can't zoom in a bit on the final product. i hope the clouds look more like clouds.... hey, great site marcello =P i'm not really a painter though, and plus my pixel art sux, but it was really fun messing with this (for the whole 10 min or so) i'll work on some stuff later, cya.

For a first, it's pretty good...On MY first, I never knew what HalfTone did. I thought it would lighten or darken an area of the image. -_- Silly me... I like how the flag is like, forged within his face. Very creative, indeed... ^_^ |
