Whee, definitely improving. I suggest working on lineart. The great thing about the pen tool is that it's instant perfect lineart, so you shouldn't have to go over the lines too many times. You're using a tablet now, right? Makes it even sexier.

ok....JUST after i submitted this, i realized that i accidently spelled cavaliers wrong by (unconciously) putting an extra "la" in it. please do not hold that against me. i also realized that the cavalier's teeth were orange the first time, so yea. its as good as i can get it because i couldnt edit the text. oh well. i hope u like it.

Yah, I can't say marroon birds are my favorite either. Heh, heh. Good idea. This is great! I like the shading on the orange circle in the background. The little man's shirt has good shading, too. Great improvement!

The "rubber fur" really does describe it well. You've done great work with making him look all shiny and smooth. Colouring works great as do shadowing and the shine.

Still can't believe this can be done with a Shi-painter...~

There's not much to comment on, considering that it's part of a face and only consists of 4-5 colors. I think you could have shaded under the hair and used a different color besides white for the skin.
