"Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunityTo seize everything you ever wanted-One moment Would you capture it or just let it slip?" edit: the thumbnail looks 10x better, eh? Reference pic is here but it's modified from the original pic, which happens to look like this one.
Miss_DJ (Mar 18, 2008)
real nice draw! his skin and eyes are incredible.
QTgillie (Mar 19, 2008)
very nicely done.
STARZSHINE (edited Mar 19, 2008)
actually miss C.Pink the large pic looks as good as the thumbnail. I love the texture in the larger one, very stylistic! beautiful work dahling! :D oh and it looks very INTENSE! bravo!
Cordelia_Pink (Mar 19, 2008)
Are you sure?!?!?!?!? 'cause everytime I look at it, it kiiiinda doesn't unless if I move farther away from the screen or squint my eyes for a bit then maybe I can see a bit of a resemblance. hmmm. oh well. but thanks, Starz!! And thanks for all the comments everyone! |

This is my first time using the Okshi program. It is hard to get used to from the other one but I think I did an ok painting. Please feel free to comment. Right now I see I need to fix the spout a little.
jpjp1052 (Mar 17, 2008)
Wonderful. Love the colors. The teapot looks real.
Miss_DJ (Mar 17, 2008)
really nice Laura! The porcelain is perfect!
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)

Xina54 (Mar 22, 2008)
The teapot is definitley in front of the lovely blue vase - did I tell you blue is my favourite colour? and the forget-me-nots really 'pop' |

Cool drawing, he looks like me, big eyes as if he's also on a sugar-rush (just ate some selfmade honey-caramels)I do the same fleet :D. Hiding from everybody I'm such a big pig. Each year we get a choccy bunny from work that is 20 inches. A LOT of bunny to devour.
MissA_sketches (Mar 18, 2008)
Wonderful draw! Very cute expression!I'm a candy picker myself if they have them......eyes first, (ewwww....eyeless bunny!), then the candied flower! Yum! If not, then I'm an ears gal.....lol.
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)
OMG, lol, love this jp, you caught the candy eyes perfectly, lol, boy what childhood memories this evokes, lol, of course we always ate the ears off first! too cute, I am not even sure I have seen these hollow candy bunnies anywhere anymore, now most of the rabbits are covered in foil, what a shame though cause the easter baskets we had as children were so much more festive. again amazing work dahling! I used to love the sugar eggs that were a panorama, again, I don't think they make 'em anymore, too cost and labor intensive for this commercialism nowa days.
Xina54 (Mar 22, 2008)
ahh there you are! I heard you were over here. I'm afraid I couldn't take another bite - just stuffed a whole chocolate egg! He sure looks surprised to find himself earless . . . |

QTgillie (Mar 16, 2008)

does the individual exist? do stored ideas and memories provide us with a false sense of self and separateness?if you could excise specific parts of your brain, or add to it, would you? which direction would you choose? i am tempted to become a blissful vegetable, tripping out on the happier brain chemicals until i expire. in reality, given the choice i would probably go the other way and become an emotionless processor of information, losing my sense of self to become one with entirety.
Roytje (Mar 16, 2008)
Nice. :)
Kloxboy (Mar 16, 2008)
This is a neat drawing, I like the style and the details are especially eye catching. Those are all interesting questions, very existential. Ever notice how some people constantly inflict intangible riddles and musings on themselves and others? They get lost in the intrigue and mystery of it all, and become analytical nightmares. Mind you, I'm not talking about your average inquirer or developing youth, I'm talking about people who think everything exists in the abstract and nothing is certain. They answer questions with questions. They philosophize in a way that doesn't stimulate the brain but only confuses and frustrates it. Those types of people, I tell ya, they drive me nuts. :D
Sweetcell (Mar 16, 2008)
So nice to see you here again. You still over at youdraw? Well your surreal pictures are always welcome and a treat for the eye.

A lot of work left to do....have only laid down the basics so far. Feel free to comment if you wish.....These ballerinas have been great fun to do....I think I will move on to another subject for a bit now. Please enjoy them.
KathyH (Mar 17, 2008)
I have enjoyed looking at them, you can stay with ballerinas if you'd like, they are so lovely! But, now I'm curious to see what your next subject will be, you are so talented!
Cameo (Mar 17, 2008)
This is very lovely! I've enjoyed this subject very much! ;o)

This is fine for begginers but not quite intermediate. It's always best to learn and perfect the use of the appelets before working your way to inter or advanced. If your unsure please the rules. Welcome.
MonicaB (Mar 16, 2008)
i dont think i asked for your opinion....i dont think it matters where you think it should be in the ranks..... its art...isnt that what we are all here for? to express ourselves through art...and for your information i have been drawing on these kind of programs for a while this was just a quick throw down
KuteDymples (Mar 16, 2008)
I really like the darkness you added to the sky and the stars. This is really pretty.
Skrog (Mar 17, 2008)
neat pic, i'm lovin the cool colors and the movement. No need to be offended though, I can understand sweet's suggestion to try submitting a few things to beginner before moving on to intermediate. She's not tryging to be mean and neither am I; just giving an honest suggestion. Looks cool though. Keep uploading things, your work looks interesting. |

Very pretty rose!
STARZSHINE (Mar 19, 2008)
so delicate and beautiful, just a blush on the petals, nice work Laura.
Xina54 (Mar 22, 2008)
this is just lovely but I wonder if the petal (bottom left) should be a bit sharper if its in the foreground . . . |
