^ I know The White stripes didn't write Conquest themselves, and that they just did a cover of it, but that's where I heard it first so i'm giving them credit instead of going through the trouble of finding the person who actually wrote the song.

This movie is highly underappreciated, which is bull, because drug addicts and hallucinating old wimmins always make for a good movie.. lol seriously though, awesome movie. reccommend it. Not one of my best pieces, but I don't use colors like this, let alone from a reference, so it was challenging. I'd kind of like to work on the BG a little more because it looks so incomplete and half assed right now (which it is), but I know i'll never be able to motivate myself enough to do it so i'm just going to leave it alone.

On a completely irrelevant note: I turn 16 in like.. euh.. about two months. I'm psyched.

I love the colors and the compostion....great draw. Do we have to be careful on the roads now, that you will be turning 16? OH....and thanks for the tip on the ghost shadows I keep getting. Have not had trouble with them since tho.

this is just a portriat i did that looks like a dream i had one night. i normally have dark brown hair and hazel eyes but in my dream i had turquoise eyes and dark red hair. and i was in dark water. it was strange and beautiful and usually i don't have dreams that vivid. it was one of the best dreams i've ever had. very lucid.

the expression on this is pretty neat, and i like the reddish highlight.. very cool concept. I have vivid dreams like that all the time.. like a couple nights ago I had a dream I was floating around in a phonebooth in the sky with this russian babushka chick.. and it was really weird lol

i (heart) the white stripes. this is wonderful! that's my favorite line from icky thump for sure. "kick yourself out you're an immigrant too!" extremely graphic. i love it!

If you look at this one way it's one face looking to our left, another way there's a second partial profile looking at the first face from the left to the right and very close. Looking another time there's a face in the middle looking to the right . I guess I shouldn't have tried all that stuff in the 60s eh?
