Well, it seems I go overboard with the blur tool, but the pixel'd look really looks ugly to me, because I'm more used to using real paint than digital work... I'll try to work on my technique a bit, I s'pose.

They aren't really spooky... They just lack reflection. Perhaps you could use some white Airbrush to make them shine. Perhaps you could put pupils in the centre. Otherwise, they're fine. This is nice, too.

This is Rune. The third member of our team of mutants. Her powers are somewhat akin to a slayer; extra strength, hearing, sight, endurance, healing. She's also a master theif, and provides the finances for their operation. But she's a good guy. Heh.

This is Tank. Another one of the good guys working with our team of mutants. He's a big huge guy, but his power isn't amazing strength. He can see people auras, to tell whether or not they're a mutant. He also has the slight psychic power to be able to find groups of mutants. And, he can cook! lol. He and Mishie used to be a couple, but he left her for Rune (who I'm drawing next), even though he and Rune didn't last.
Btw, I'm making these as an accompaniment for our story, sort of illustrations. C&C always welcome.
