That's pretty intense, and you're using paintbbs...
I like your lighting on this picture, but let's see...c&c.
something around the bottom of the nose and mouth area doesn't seem right angle-wise, it seems as if the face contents aren't at exactly the same angle as the entire head. Maybe the upper lip and nose need to be to the right slightly, or change the right profile of the head (from chin to near eye.)
The only other thing I would say is the lighting above the (figure's) left eye, the shading at that point looks like the figure is pressing against glass.

HOLY SHITAKE MUSHROOMS!!!!!!! gawd.... only thing I can see wrong with it is that the chin on the left side is a tad cut-off-ish. I really shouldn't say that, because it's a thousand times better than anything I can do right now, but I just sort of noticed. Great job. *oogles* *drools* *gets slightly jealous*

mazi (Sep 22, 2003)
very realisitic. though not everyone has it id give his neck a little bit of definition?
method3 (Sep 22, 2003)
First off, I think the issues about the face and such are simply minor issues that need to be tweaked, as features always need to be somewhat. The oddest thing I find about this is simply that the neck is not shaded with the same lighting as the face (ie from the upper right, not from the audience perspective). For instance, his Adam's apple would probably be defined more in the middle of his neck, and mark the area where the shadow should start. As it is, his head is kinda floating above the neck since the head doesn't seem to be casting shadows onto the neck.

Good job anyway.
