I've seen the Princess Monoke before and It was fabulous. I can say so for your picture too. It looks remarkably alot like the real thing. = D Don't put yourself down. It's great!

This is quite impressive, you do justice to a good movie.
The only noticable problem I see is with the arms. The arm on the left seems awkward with the elbow so high, and at the very very bottom of the image, it narrows very quickly and unnaturally. The arm on the right is pretty good, just needs a little work below the elbow.
Overall though the rest of the lineart and shading is without fault, so keep up the good work!

haha I love this movie! And those little white guys in the trees that go "clicky clicky clicky clicky" though I must say the whole turning into a demon thing was creepy and the detatched wolf head slithering on the ground creeped my out.
