Geez, did you branch this guy out of Spark Mandrill from Megaman X???The gold shoulder plates and the hunch reminded me of him^^;.Even if that's the case, nice job with all the details.I wouldn't even know where to start drawing a robot^^;.I gotta say I like the smoke coming off his blown off left arm too.

Thanks everyone! Nah Gig, the similarity hadn't even occured to me. That happens though... I just kind of mix and match different forms in my head until I have a concept that I think will look cool, and a lot of times I haven't mixed stuff up as much as I think I have, kind of like how Robot No. 2 ended up looking like Samus. Of course, you draw a certain kind of thing enough times and you'll have coincidences like that. I'll have to try breaking out of my usual design concepts for the next robot. |

Very cool. I love this. It's relatively simple, but it says a lot. Superb job! The light/dark contrast is cool, and the tones in the body are done well too. They make it look like there are bruises and dirt on the body (which was probably intentional).

i think the blur would have been more effective if only one of he characters were blurred, putting the emphasis on the other. for example, if inuyasha where blurred, not only would it make kagome more prominent, it would make him look further away.

I just don't think it's good enough for intermediate yet, I need to be able to draw things with more clarity.Two fishing ships getting their last catch of the day as the sun sets. Reminds me of a painting I saw once, but I can't remember who painted it.
