The body proportions and pose is wonderful. I think it's interesting how in the first drafts of it, you wanted the earth to be something of a translucent ball.. And it progressed into this. But I think the outcome is gorgeous. Wonderful job, as usual. ^_^ *Applauds.*

ok well first to see something we need light. . pick a light source. and since you're most likely representing 3d objects, try to picture them that way. then think of how the light hits those 3d objects. if it helps any, make a pre-sketch and map out where light hits. in a pic theres gunna be a highlight, a lighter area, a neutral, an area with no light at all, and reflections/shadows. so theres a lot to consider, but doing only the basics first can get you pretty far.

From a black and white photo. I chose this subject based on several factors, I like the angle the shot was taken from, it creates an impression of superiority. The black and white was also something I felt like trying to "get right" and last but not least the shot showed lots of detail in the muscles that I felt would be a good challenge, something that would hold my interest and make me put forth some effort, good exercise. I redid this comment after finaly having read the rules.

being me i have to complain about something. and i think my only complaint would be the right boob looks turned weird? i think. i think the nipple should be closer to the middle? its looking more like a profile boob than a 3/4 view. i think.very nice though. love the concept.

I get a fun lil wiggly feeling when you comment because I know it's not gonna be some bull you're posting, and when it's a critique, it's really helpful. ...Elvan assassin. Don't know why, it turned out bloody again. Any suggestions for background are welcome.I like the skull. took me an hour to draw. So tired right now. I rarely draw 3 hour straight (I had to submit it during differnt stages just in case my browser froze). especially with empty stomatch...
