Thanks, y'all.
Anna, I'm bad with plants too.....that's why I exclusively keep silk plants!! They ALWAYS look good....after you get the dust off..LOL

Sweetcell (Dec 20, 2007)
What everyone said, picture perfect. Those leaves look waxy and the petals velvety soft. Just beautiful Miss Elly.

I am relatively new to electronic drawing and so using the tools is out of my comfort zone. I usually try to create effects just by using paint & color, even when drawing electronically. I am amazed at the effects that artists create with these tools. I gave it my best try, and I hope I can continue to learn and use the tools to improve my art.

This drawing was done on the Lascaux board, using the following tools: layers, straight line, curve line, oval, filled oval, rectangle, filled rectangle, blend, blur, dodge, & burn. I tried to use as many of the tools as there were available for the board. I wanted to use the magic wand for something, but I still don't understand how or when I would use that tool.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments & feedback, and thanks Sweetcell for considering my picture in the running for 1st. I am honored to have placed 2nd. I am learning so much on this site and am inspired by all of the great artists here.

Okay, this is awesome. That marble blows me away. You have some wonderful work here and I'm so glad I'm having a chance to see the rest of it that I haven't already seen. Excellent!

Where I set my thoughts to far off destinations.
So they may have a chance of finding a place where they're far more suited than here.

You really are not allowed to only be 21!!! It is against some cosmic law that a 21 yr old be this good ALREADY!!!!!!
Uh...translated means...I am so impressed with your art work.
UnWanted (edited Nov 8, 2007)
huh? 21 is too young?

I don't draw often on here (got a bunch of drawings in the studio that i slowly piece together) but look at the old drawing of mine Dante! Teh Destroyer!!! back when I was 17

My favorite style is the spontaneous, painterly look, so I really like this.

14 minute Masterpiece! Thats the guy from "Little House on the Prairie" right?

It would take me 2-3 hours just to get my drawing to look this good. Maybe.

thirsty for inspiration because the person (Axil62 you know who you are) that I have learned the most from watching and who inspires me the most has been too busy to draw much lately, so I looked at this pitcher of water and I drew it. (pun intended) :)

Last week I had the strangest dream, where everything was exactly how it seemed.
Where there was never any mystery of who shot John F. Kennedy.
It was just a man with something to prove. Slightly bored and severly confused.
He steadied his rifle with his target in the center and became famous on that day in november.
