Meant to comment, thanks for drawing one of my favorite Muppet's. We have a Cookie Monster cookie jar (which the head dropped and broke and I had to stick it back together as best I could)

C is for cookie, it's good enough for me
C is for cookie, it's good enough for me

Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C.

Yes, I know the song. :)

I like the sweet baby colors in the fur so far, and the thumb looks to be a finished pic.. it's great looking all around
enjoydotcom (Jan 13, 2008)
Those dogs are cute. They snore as much as I do. As always love how you make it look painterly realistic. Don't know how to explain what I mean by that.
MelissaMissy (Jan 16, 2008)
Bulldogs are my second fave breed of dogs! They are so wrinkly and chubby and adorable! This is excellent, I really adore it!

If you go to the very Eastern Cape of the North Island of New Zealand, you'll find this lighthouse on the top of a hill. We woke up at about 4am, drove here from the campsite and dragged ourselves up the hundreds of steps to grab this view of the first sunrise of the world on the 17th December 2006. It was worth it. My friend Jens took the picture (here).

Based on Eugène Delacroix’s painting La Liberté guidant le peuple ("Liberty Leading the People"), the symbol of the revolution that ended feudal rule in France and is regarded as the symbol of the French Revolution of 1789.

vagina!
Sweetcell (Dec 30, 2007)
Alright, I think the nipple thing should be dropped. This is a contest board, how the artist portrays something is their business and will be judged on how well their entry followed the theme and this follows the theme. If anyone has anymore issues with this they can contact me through private memo. I hope jpjp reconsiders and leaves this on the boards.
davincipoppalag (edited Jan 6, 2008)
I hope so too.. it's not important to the work to have that added at all.. it's a fine entry January 7: Congrats on placing second!!g
Miss_DJ (Jan 7, 2008)
Congrats on 2nd place!!

Took last image and tried drawing it at a new angle for practice. I'm not really liking the high contrast lighting, but ah well.

I like everything about it. Great draw.
staci (Dec 23, 2007)
despite the contrast, seems kinda flat to me. but its impressive in terms of the perspective.

did you use the straight on ref and change the angle yourself?
Zack (Dec 23, 2007)
I think that's why I don't like the high contrast, it has a flattening, 2D-graphic effect. And yeah.
davincipoppalag (Dec 23, 2007)
Looks like a photo to me
