choking on a cherry flavored candy wrapperEdit: i spent 40 minutes finishing it up, i colored it all in watercolor, and then when i was putting finishing touches on the bg, i hit undo, and it reverted back to the second revision....grrrr yes, it's supposed to look all sketchy

hmm, you need to add some more curves and stuff. The body parts and pants are too straight. head is nice though.

Aphex Twin is awesome. And so is this picture! It's good to know that many people here so far listen to good music and use it for inspiration, too! I like how it's monochrome and it really does stand out.

from naruto the outcast head protecter with blood who do you think it belongs too? o_O you have a few to pick from. happy with the way it cane out :P even if you are right i cant tell you. cuz a few people fussed at me for letting something go last time :)

thanks i am going to try doing it a little diffrent next time but keeping the idea of this pic i learn and figured out a number of things doing this one i still like it and am glad i made it. but if i do it smaller i should beable to do more detailed things to it thanks

awesome as per usual ms. connie lady.kawaii_otaku, lots and lots of practice/effort. id say the pen tool in shi-painter. lots of zoom. im not sure about connie, but i use pressure sensitivity on my tablet (top bar full, bottom bar almost full. not sure what they do, really, but that works for me) on a small size and a high opacity. and you dont need to have a tablet to do smooth lines, hakkai is a rabid mouse user and shes always got smooth as fork lines.

Haha. XD <3 for mazi.In my case, actually, I use the airbrush tool. I definitely used to be one of the many slaves of the pen tool, but I watched one too many of furyofroy's animations, and started to use the airbrush tool instead. I set in on a high opacity and use a slightly larger brush than I actually want the lines to be, and once I've got nice solid thick lines, I go back in with the smooth eraser and thin down all the lines. I don't even bother with the pressure sensitivity on my tablet, usually.
