Hi Gemmy!! LTNS!! Am looking thru your gallery now and am blown away!! YouDraw has died a slow and paintful death basically and many of us are over at sketchfu.com. Its a very fun site., The drawing tools are not as good as the ones here but still good enough to do complicated draws. I do miss a lot of my YD friends who are over here. I'll stop by from time to time.This draw is magnificent!! Very impressed.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is OUR jpjp!!! The style looks suspiciously familiar!! I am THAT FU gerbear *L* I have a gallery too here tho I don't draw here much anymore.Would love for you to see my nude and my anime draw. They more reflect what I do and can do then my fooling around at FU :) I looked at all of your stuff here and here there or anywhere you are one wonderfully accomplished artist!

This is beautiful. The black and white only adds to the sorrow of this piece. My generation is one of the last to remember, vividly, that day... I still recall the way the whole nation held its breath afterward.

Somedays I rememberI apologise to those above who were commenting on my original drawing. Somehow, it changed and I had no idea it was going to. I draw from "inside" a lot. This is just where the skull led me.

It was not when I drew this, but today it is, so I am commenting on my own drawing. I flew out of New York City exactly 24 hours before the planes hit. I was in town for a wedding, my cousin and her fiance who worked in the Trade Center for Cantor Fitzgerald on one of the floors where no one survived. Had they not married that weekend and left for their honeymoon, he would be gone now. They came back and attended dozens of funerals for his co-workers. I guess this image was inside me jes waiting to appear and finally it did.

It's my best friends birthday today so I promised her I'd make her a cake. She's more deserving then anyone I know having gone through a lot of horrors last year, and still facing some tough times ahead. But sweeting everything'll be alright. Luvs ya and hope to always be here for you. BFFL my sherosister.

I like the figure and idea, but the background is too intense at the moment and doesn't feel distant. Try fading it out some so it has less contrast and a lighter overall value, closer to the lightness of the hills and sky. That way the woman's head will pop forward more and you'll have a nice sense of depth in the picture. You might want to put a stronger shadow under the ragged bits of cloth over her stomach as it looks a bit like disfigured skin at first glance. I like the detail and design in the picture though, good stuff.
