Thanks QT ... I have a few details to rework on this ... and yes patience is something I have learned, it saves me time and money in the long run, some things that look nice or seem nice don't always translate to "wow" compositions for painting.

Hi Aakyra!! This is "sparky" from sketchfu.....I am so glad I finally found you. I was just looking through your gallery....and I can't believe my eyes!! Your artwork is more amazing than ever....I just have to keep looking at these horses....this Arabian looks sooo real...I can almost "reach out" and pat him!! You are really an amazing artist.....I'm just "speechless"...."LOL"!!!

His face is fugly and nothing close to the dancer in the ref. *sigh* Well I had enough of it. Maybe I'll get back to it one day..... and also fix those pants. WTF? I thought I colored them solid black?

DK, if you look besides the image, and only see it from the corners of your eyes, it will move. At least, it did when I looked.
At first I also wanted to say, not advanced. Until I noticed you used Lascaux, that to the best of my knowledge does not have a texture like the background. So at least you get a 'kudos' for that.

thanks all...bmw what makes a pen specifically a shirt pen? ;)

and enjoy, advanced was used for size...these types of illusions are hard to replicate effectively on a smaller scale. as per the textures, well, its not, its lines...lots of them, with just enough frequency to sequence evenly..there are some imperfections, and it does not have the effect i wanted, but im happy
