How much would someone have to pay you to eat this?

how big a piece?
ShadowKitten (Dec 12, 2003)
Probably like $5, and volumes 1-9 of Peach Girl and volumes 1-7 of Peach Girl: Change of Heart
Mafuyu (Dec 12, 2003)
Ten gazillion dollars, and all the animes and mangas in the world.
Zinc (Dec 12, 2003)
Since when do bananas rot in blue?

P.S. Stop making pointless comments unless you decide to add a statement about the drawing as well. Don't make me say please.

For all of you who are familiar with J-rock, I present to you, Die from Dir en Grey. I tried to get the text to show up, but it wouldn't, so I had to write it in. And would someone please tell me what a tablet is and why everyone makes a big deal over using a mouse to draw? That's what I do.... Anyway, I liked how this turned out. I tried to work up a different bg but it turned out like this.

Having a tablet is like having an orgasm, only ten times better. It's just like drawing on a normal sheet of paper. It's a little board you hook up to your computer, with a little pen, and when you write on the board, the cursor moves across the screen. People hate mouses so much because it's a very detached way of drawing; Like shouting through a sound-proof wall.
Harmanye (Dec 10, 2003)
Hate mouses? Pfft, I'm hoping for a tablet, but I love my mousey-kins, and I hope I'm half-way decent wiith it.
Anyway, the eyes are cute, I don't know anything about Dir en Grey, but my parents have locked me in the proverbial basement, so to speak, still very cool, love the redness.
marcello (Dec 10, 2003)
I wish people would stop complaining so much about mice. I find some things are actually much easier with a mouse (like clean lineart). I must say though, the mouse on a tablet is really nice, really precise, lightweight, and no wire.
Shuichi-chan (Dec 12, 2003)
YAY!!! I like this!! Moo...*gets chibified* can you make kyou and karu and toshiya too!? And if you like malice mizer, can ya do chibified kami (may his soul rest in peace) ^_^ you have mad chibi skillz! Die rocks tho!!! Vulgar cd rawks!!

So hate I the sight of that writing,
the symbol of death,
so hide I from the light of its redness,
the letter called "F"

a new paper
furyofroy (Dec 11, 2003)
You'll know you have come far when you can draw a straight line without using the "line" tool.

It's been said over and over again, but ya gotta use shading.
RabidMalikFanGirl (Dec 11, 2003)
Yeah. I like the pencil case and all... But seriously. Many people don't match their floor/carpet to their walls. The window needs a frame. It's just glued to the wall like a picture. And one more thing... More content. The picture is kind of dull. Add a stack of papers or something of the like.

mutual synergy...
rydicanubis (Dec 7, 2003)
so i've always wanted to do a good collab with someone, something where we add our own styles and strengths to the picture to create something better than either could do alone... yeah... basically i still do bad lineart... so this: would anyone of the kickass lineart-ers like to ink up a sketch of mine; then one, or both of us could do the colouring and background? nothing critical, especially considering the copious amounts of studying i'm schelduled for the next week or two -__- ... just ...

Yet another eye to add to the collection of eye images.
I bet you're overcome with joy.

(It's so big, yet so small...)

Forgive me and my un-knowledgable-ness, I'll look it up... ^_^
Oh, um, are you sure whatever it is is called a gullet?
(From dictionary.com)
Gullet The passage between the pharynx and the stomach.
Is that what you meant?
furyofroy (Dec 9, 2003)

elana (Dec 11, 2003)
The eyelashes look too short and uniform, realistic eyelashes crisscross and are different lengths. When drawing eyelashes try drawing a thick line along the upper lid (where eyelashes grow out from, not the actual lid) to show that the eye sticks out and the lid casts a shadow, then making a few clumps of curved lashes along the outer edge of the eyelid. Also, the actual eyelid shouldnt be completely connected to both ends of the eye. Grrrr, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, I find its hard to convey what I mean to others. Other than that tiny detail this is a pretty awesome pic, I love your idea also.
Harmanye (Dec 11, 2003)
Oh I understand the eyelash part, but the eyelid not connecting to the eye thing.... I dunno, I'm probably not the best person to try to explain things to, *taps head* dense, you know?...

But you see I wasn't really trying to be realistic, I'm not that smart or talented, if one can identify that it is indeed an eye, then that is what I wanted to get across.
Of course I shall keep your suggestion in mind for when I decide to stop being so sheeple-ish and branch out on something new, and I applaud you of course on your observatory skills, that is one of the many important thingsthat make up an artist.

To answer Furyofroys first question, I believe doing this one-eye picture thing is rather common and not very interesting, but I didn't think I could get away with a face and make it look... acceptable.

Jesus Freak, if you haven't noticed, most of the Bible (mainly the Old Testament) is nothing but parables...the story of Adam and Eve is about children growing up, being disobedient, losing their innocence, and having sex (eating the FRUIT!). Anyway, I am a 'Chiristian' but being a Christian doesn't mean taking the Bible literally. It was written by HUMANS so that means they probably portrayed the things they were told to write (by God) in a false light...because mankind isn't 'perfect'. THE END

This "God" thing is great.. Yesterday.. I had a flat tired.. And I prayed to God that I would have a spare in the back of my car... and lo-and-behold! There it was right in the back where I had put it 12 weeks ago! w00t

JF89 You have every right to bash homos.. Unfortunately It wont do a bit of good. But I would like to remind you that it also says in the bible to love your fellow man, no matter there sins, and let God judge them.. so getting in to a yelling contest with peoples morals, or outlooks are just going to make u look very prudish..

Lol.. There’s a girl I talk to sometimes, shes cute as she can be, but every time I crack a crude joke, or say a swear word, she starts quoting verses from the bible, and she’s a pretty lonely girl :/

OH Awsome pic BTW! the attempt is very anime stile..
Neko (Dec 11, 2003)
Cute. Wish I had the guts to draw like this.

You're doing very good work and there's not much you need practise in. If you see any flaw in your works, just remember to hone your skills by drawing even more. At least the rest of us get something to see.

Shh. Let people believe you spent more time on it. :o Cool contrast, if it was intended.
lucy_430 (Dec 10, 2003)
Yeah, I was going for contrast, the skin could use darker shading to bring it out more...oh well. Thanks. :)

I always thought your style was very cool... That thingy (I forget what they're called) is quite well done. Y'know, I never actually seen one up close.

With the perfect scenery! Looks very spiffy, I especially like the hill to the left there, with the yellow flowers and whatnot. I think that the street and the purple flowers and grass could use a little more shading, to give it depth. The car has nice shading, why not the rest of it? Very nice perspective. ^^
furyofroy (Dec 9, 2003)
That car looks a little out of place. :P I agree with CV, the scenery could use a little more shade-age.
