Almost there.

See, now this is cute.
Sweetcell (Jun 22, 2007)
This is cute, but not yet intermediate.

I already mentioned this on another of your pieces but I'll repeat it here since your still working on it.
The lineart could be cleaner and a little darker. Airbrush is good to use, set a med, drawn thick, then coming back with the soft erasure on med/low and shaving it down. The lines looks cleaner and smoother. And your coloring, though pretty, is way to light. Try to darken it, and add a background other then white and for God's sake, avoid the blur tool. It messes pictures up if overused.

This is fine so far.

OK, im not much of a background person, apparantly i like plain, pale colored backgrounds so dont expect an intricate background from me anytime soon.Mabye some time in the future. But for now this is what I'll do. oh, and i tried to make the lines clearer. tell me if i need to make the lines more visible, and I'll do what I can. =)

Kokubu Karin was just your average junior high school student, that is, until she turns into superheroine Super Pig! [or Buurin] Years later, however, instead of fighting crime, she fights for another day to live. [Though, I don't think old pig tastes very good, does it?]

Somehow Brokeback Mountain comes to mind.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jun 21, 2007)
The last time I made pudding it was chocolate, and it was homemade from scratch, and it was two days after I had a hysterectomy. (just a partial one, but it still wasn't any fun) When the bowl slipped from my hands because I had my fat toddler niece Caroline wiggling on one hip (she weighed like 11 lbs at birth...big lil' girl) this was much later and she was a lot heavier, and I was trying to move the bowl from the counter to the table...it slipped from my hand and crash, break, splat... broken glass and chocolate pudding on the floor, the the cabinet doors, the walls... it was like a chocolate pudding atom bomb. I immediately recalled the parting words of my funny spectacle wearing little old ob/gyn surgeon... "No lifting... no sweeping, no mopping, no vacuuming, blah blah... for at least 6 weeks"...... haHAH... so just for fun, I called him at home and said "HEY"!!! I was lifting my fat niece and I dropped a huge bowl of pudding on the floor. You said no lifting, no mopping... here's a reality check, doc... there's no one else here to do it, should I put her on the floor and let her play in the broken glass and pudding while you drive over to baby sit and mop? I hung up on him while he was laughing. :D I managed to clean up, but we both had "pudding pants" before it was over. I have no idea how this was intended to be interpreted, but that's honestly my take on the lovely work of art. Doctors are sooooooooooo stupid, but pudding pants can be fun, anyway.
Axil62 (Jun 22, 2007)
I just realized how this could be taken if you follow the revisions and use a little imagination, hence the brokeback Mountain comment, but no, Just began as a guy at a bar, then for no reason he was saying butt, then I didn't like the smoke in v1 so I redid it and while I was there I changed his expression a little, then I decided I only liked the smoke part so I went with that and then I heard Ray Romano from Everybody loves Raymond call his wife Pudding pants on TV, so I put that in.

I wanted to draw something. Not what I meant to but...

It's too overworked. I wish I knew how Roy does it.

Yes, I noticed I managed to somehow get that steamy/foggy effect during a rainstorm. Amazing what one can do with paint (real or digital) Thanks Sevi.

What else can I do
when the tears have all been wasted?
And the only voice you choose to hear
Sings the songs of our hearts breaking

Say your dreams, they all have changed
Well, my smiles, they all have faded
And the thoughts that used to seem so pure in my heart,
they now feel jaded

Because I wanna feel like I did
And I wanna feel innocence

What else can it be
except this pride, I'm sick of drinking
Storm clouds all have gone away
Can we stop this thing from sinking?

Because I wanna feel like I did
And I wanna feel innocence

And I want you to know,
and to feel in your soul,
that someone has come and gone

I'm stuck up here with you
I never thought we'd get this high
I used to be afraid of falling
Now I'll spread my wings and I will fly

I wanna feel like I did
And I wanna feel innocence
I wanna feel like I did
Oh, I wanna feel innocence, oh. I...

This looks very awsome and beautiful.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 19, 2007)
Thank you. :) You know, all these years my Daddy had never seen any of my digital art, and he came over recently, this was one of the things I showed him. He never once said anything about the "art" or if I "did okay"... He smiled at this and said... I remember that... and you were always the prettiest, happiest little girl. Then he kept smiling. I guess that means I did okay, here, I'm still not sure. :)

Your lineart is so perfect! I want it!

Very cute :D

Did you use the softening eraser for the lineart? If so, how did you get it so neat?
101_Torchic_101 (Jun 19, 2007)
Yeah, I use the sof eraser.

I think it's still somewhat organic. Nice.

Wow, this is just.... all kinds of words that I'd only be repeating and wouldn't do justice in the end.

I love the organic/robot pussy. :D
