I like this but it looks unfinished. The scribbly lines (especially on the face) look like a preliminary sketch and the thing looks imcomplete.

love this Laura, I may have this same lady, but with a different pose. I just love the Carnivale of Venice, and I have tons of pics that I want to do when I get brave enough, lol. Some are quite intricate and I may just do them a bit at a time. Love the colors and the playfulness this has. One day I would love to go and witness this festival for myself. ah one can only dream, in the meantime we can draw and paint and make us believe we are there...:D |

Very cute and pretty. I wish we saw those around here. You might want to suggest the other leg Kath, here it appears there is only one, and maybe add a little more shadow on the fence rail. Nice drawing

Terry......I can't believe I missed commenting on this. I have looked at it so many times and I guess I was so engrossed in all of the detailing I thought I had commented. I love the whole draw, but my favorite part about it is the one piece of cording that comes down from the bell. I can't quit staring at it. It looks like you could reach right out and take it from the picture, seeing the side of it and the perfect details you have put into it. Wow! Masterpiece is quite the understatement for this. Mardi gras memorabilia has always taken me aback, and this would be a perfect addtion to all that I already have. |
