Ironically, as I started this one, a quick and violent storm came up here and I had to shut down my pc! Can't lose this baby!! Already lost one modem that way!!

Used to do that myself as a kid Deathnote now I'm too chicken, but I love watching storms.I can hear the guy who plays the Cowardly Lion now, "It's a twitsah, it's a twistah." Love the whole effect from the twistah to the tree.

I like the cloud tops...but the lightning needs more "oompf"..the burn tool is good for that kind of thing...and the sky in the area below the clouds..would be that.."greenish-gray" looking ominous color.. It's a good picture...take a look at a couple of the twister pictures DeadlyBlondeArcher did......

Thanks for the "expert" advise david ;) I'll check DBA's drawings for sure! I think if I was looking at a reference when I drew this, I would have gotten more "oompf" in the whole thing but I was just drawing out of the blue....or gray if you want to look at it that way LOL. |

Awesome job on all ur pokemon! My 6 yr old son just saw your thumbnail gallery (with a few exceptions...kept those hidden..LOL). He's their No. 1 fan! I've done some canvas paintings of Charizard, Charmeleon, and Charimander (I'm sure my spelling is waaaay off there!!) for my son's room but I'll have to give it a shot on here! Keep 'em coming! =o) |

Just updating this to "finished" to clear out the 'ole studio. No more space to draw on this one anymore. I know I can request more space but I'd rather just have room to start another drawing =)

Wow....this rose is good too. I still don't get how you get your lines so smooth and unjagged......you probably use a better board than i do........and probly use a tablet. Good job. |

Trying something a little harder.I had just noticed you could see through his hair, and it didn't have any texture. Maybe looks better now.

the arm looks like its a little too long, but other than that, i really like this one! the shading is done very well, and i like how you did her hair; very pretty

Thanks, now that you mention the arm...it does look a tad bit long. I love doing shading, it is my favorite part of a drawing, and I wish I couild do hair better. I have seen some on here that look so realy you could reach out and touch it.

I submitted this, then I seen that I had it enlarged during the drawing process. I should have zoomed back out because the drawing on the top is not finished where the leaves are. I am going to try to edit the pic but last time I tried to edit after submitting it wouldn't let me.
