Took forever to come up with a design for a mascot.... thats why the over an hour duration. Finally just threw down this little guy. Still not happy the way it turned out. No references.

This little guy is adorable! He still isn't my favourite mascot, but he was well worth browsing back this far into the boards, to see! <smile> You have quite a gift for creating expressive features; my only issue with this piece is that I'd like to see the lines a bit smoother -- but apart from that, for what he is, he's great! :)

To Brushes: I hope that this does the memory of your mother, and the love you have for your children justice. I find that alot of people associate redbirds with someone who was very dear to them, usually the person who taught them to love. My grandmother loves them, and it was one of the first things we painted together when I was little.

This is really good DBA! You did exceptional work on the background. My only pick with this is the tip of the beak doesn't seem to fit being rounded like that....kinda like it belongs on a different species...you might want to try sharpening the edge more, making it more straight. Other than that everything else is awesome! :D

Sin is an ugly thing....it dirties the purest of things...slowly fading it away or crumbling it messily. It stains, kills, blackens. ~yah I know, this pic was really out of the norm of my usual work.

nice colors...I like the silhouette idea... I think this would be better if you ditch the little boat( its proportions are odd) and put in the silhouette of a duck there and make it a tad smaller than the size you made the boat.. generally though I like this...

19c. Spanish Aqueduct... from a painting i did..this looks childish though, i was just trying to finish some of the picture i had hidden

I don't think it looks childish at all.. it could use some more detailing on the aqueduct itself..and some more highlighting on it.. to make it stand out from the hills...I am not sure I like the blue clouds either..but overall I like this..
