Alright, I have my monitor callibrated to be bright, but is it better to draw with a darker monitor or brighter? I downloaded the WiziWYG XP that marcello told someone to use to callibrate their screen, and it says that standard graphic art is supposed to be dark. Which should I do?

Oooh dragon, I always get drawn to dragons :) I tend to fall into the trap of always doing the westernish dragon its nice to be seeing a serpantine one :) (p.s your gallery is full of nice stuff too, it's always interesting looking through how people have progressed and what subjects they enjoy.) |

Very lovely picture, the texture is nice and it looks a lot like a pencil drawing, just the right kind of crispness :)

Holy shit, that's hot. Beautiful piece of work, the poem, I really love the rythym of the last two lines. And the purty drawring captured the atmosphere of it well. ^^

just got back from camping all weekend. so so sunburned. i think i'll not move for a while.when i was finished this, it looked familiar but i cant put my finger on it. he seems like he should be a monk or a wiseman or something. |

Very cool, especialy hands I'm useless at hands :X I'd certainly think this above begginer but its all about how you feel isent it :) I think the nails could do with some shading, make them less flat, and maybe more thought into the background? i guess its rushed look is good considering the bang theme, but I think a more interesting background would really set the hand off, or perhaps a background that was plainer even... just dont like those stripes they look out of place :)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Well damn, guess i shouldn't have drawn in the Public Boards/Beginner.... ... .. . . .. ... ....OUT OF SPACE.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

personally, I don't think this particular drawing is an intermediate level, the lines might need a bit of clean-up. but I was browsing through your drawings and you definetly have the skills to go intermediate.

Kabomb actually i agree at first glance it doesn't apear that way too tonish but open it up and view it at different zoom levels i made it so at different sizes the background will change try it with zoom in and zoom out to see what i mean. this picture has over 15 different back grounds like my little magic trick. 50% a good one.

My favorite part of this picture has got to be the detail in the glass - water stains, paint, dust, and reflections. Oooh and aaah.
