Alright, I have my monitor callibrated to be bright, but is it better to draw with a darker monitor or brighter? I downloaded the WiziWYG XP that marcello told someone to use to callibrate their screen, and it says that standard graphic art is supposed to be dark. Which should I do?

I drew a picture just like this before.. so I thought I'd try drawing it by computer. It's really fun drawing the tails coiling together.NOTE: the one on the left is female. the one on the right is male. |

One of my faves, too. Anytime! :)My favorite part of this picture has got to be the detail in the glass - water stains, paint, dust, and reflections. Oooh and aaah.

The windows are really the bit that grabs me, they are really well executed they look like ones in my house just a lot cleaner :D the reflections on the candle flame are really good too, an easy detail to miss! |

Oooh dragon, I always get drawn to dragons :) I tend to fall into the trap of always doing the westernish dragon its nice to be seeing a serpantine one :) (p.s your gallery is full of nice stuff too, it's always interesting looking through how people have progressed and what subjects they enjoy.) |

Geeze.....I thought I lost this! Started this image LONG ago using my mouse and only now did I find that I still had it! *dances* Any ways I'd forgotten what I originally intended it to be so I made it into a fanart of a friend and fellow artist's character Falen. Soft paintings always look so nice right? Trying different techniques with this tablet.....I like how this one turned out alot with the soft coloring. :D Enjoy!!!
