One of my favorite short lived sci fi shows (Firefly) mixed with one of my favorite cartoons (at least the early years) The Simpsons characters playing the Firefly characters. If you want to know more about the show you should look it up here Firefly

It's not really finished but I needed the space, Hopefully I can get some later to finish.

Sweetcell (Mar 15, 2007)
Great to hear Sythe, how many Browncoats are on 2draw? They're coming out with a special edition dvd of the movie which I might or might not get. Now sure yet.

"Jayne, the man they call Jayne....."
SYTHE (Mar 18, 2007)
I couldn't believe they killed off Hoban "Wash" Washburne and Sheperd Derrial Book in the movie. Wash was one of my favorite characters. :(
Sweetcell (Mar 18, 2007)
That is why I'm not as much of a fan of the movie and wouldn't care so much if there's a second one Sythe, even if Alan did mention to Joss his character should be killed. *sigh* I was enjoying it (for the most part, waited a hell of a long time for a continuation, even if things weren't exactly contiguous with the show) then suddenly "I'm a leaf on the *ACK*" I was shocked and through the rest of the movie I just sat there stunned saying over and over "They killed Wash, they killed Wash." I didn't even remember most of the end. Sorry to go on but I've been pissed since the movie. I mean if he had to kill someone off why couldn't it be Simon? I wouldn't care if it was Simon. (*BIG SIGH*)

Excellent patterns. I'd love to do a collab with you someday, my insanity meets your patterns, might be cool.
Naima (edited Jan 18, 2007)
Thanks, Klox! And wow, that would be interesting - your work is so textured and 3-D, who knows what we'd end up with? Would likely be quite a challenge for me (you can tell I'm a flat surface slave), but I agree that the result could be really cool. Hmmm... *rubs hands together*

I found a US history project I made from long ago. Here's one page of it- boston massacre Note my flawless font choices and historical accuracy. Yes I did turn this in for class back then, and yes the other pages were more of the same.

I've been doing the whitetail "game management" muzzleloading rifle hunt for the State at the park here, and one night I helped the State park police and rangers track one of the hunter's deer through hundreds of yards of tall, dead grass. I'm not sure why his didn't go down immediately, we're shooting civil war "cannons"... mine had an exit wound bigger than Dallas. Anyway... that was my inspiration for this, and I didn't need a reference because I've seen this so many times after bowhunting that the image is burned into my mind. I didn't quite get the effect I wanted with the flashlight...I usually flare mine where there's a circle of light and no center point of light, and it was kind of foggy that night. I played with it long enough to lose my patience... but it was fun experimenting.

Most of the time it's like spring here on Christmas day, but I don't mind because I love the Grinch. It's been freezing rain and all cold and sloshy and yucky for days... at least today it was big, fat, fluffy snowflakes, and it stayed on the ground. Usually when it snows here it melts when it hits. It's so rare that people will use it as a "year marker".... like "Was that the year it snowed?" :) I'm just not much of a cold weather person, I'm a beach bum. I've been going outside and wiggling my toes in the snow... it's fun, but it just doesn't have the same effect as warm sand.

Looks photographic. Don't like to think about the background of the subject, but great grass.
