I found a US history project I made from long ago. Here's one page of it-

boston massacre

Note my flawless font choices and historical accuracy. Yes I did turn this in for class back then, and yes the other pages were more of the same.

haha... that's hilarious. My grandmother has several oil paintings hanging in her ranch house that I did, some of them are are when I was 8 - 11 yrs. old. She loves them, but I always laugh (and cringe) when I see them.

deathking: I'm curious about your "pink anime" drawing there, and wanted to know:

-Did you use a reference?
-What program did you use to draw this?
-Do you have any other examples of your art online, of this quality or lesser besides 2Draw?

Thanks.

yeah I used some magazines for the pose, my schools tablet for the entire thing during art cause they were teaching us how to use em and I knew about applets so I went to the shipainter program they had, it was suppose to be ayane from doa but then I changed it and used some evangelion pictures for a clothes reference and no 2draw is the only oekaki board Ive been on cause well its a good one.

Great post redpanda, but where are the flying UFOs and monsters! :P haha. I'll post an old relic that was given to me as a gift from my dad who did this wood burning project and used my sketch as the reference. I wish I still had the sketch to compare, but I'm sure this is pretty accurate of my art at age 7 1/2. The 1/2 is very important! haha. http://cosmos.phpwebhosting.com/~tribes/paul/oldart.jpg

Only if I had half of your skills when I was 12 myself...

MrPaul: I must say, that's a fine piece of art right there. :D

Just thought I would mention for anyone who may read this: It is very very wrong to say you drew something that someone else drew; to put your name on someone elses hard work and creativity. Anyone who does this should be very ashamed of his/herself. Just sayin'.

Haha I know but thats not where I found it and besides I shouldnt need to say that but I dont have a scanner to show any of my work so I really cant show what I can do plus the camera I used to use cant take pictures for shit so all my hard worked on pictures were never completely appretiated and it angers me to be looked down apon but I'm pretty sure that deviant art has many thefts posted on it and that too angers me in fact I think I got rid of that picture I posted yesturday because the guilt was too much, I always hated when people stole my art so I felt dispicable.

she means you need punctuation so that people, when reading, can mentally "take a breath" in between each thought and idea. I just counted 9, maybe 10, sentences written as one giant block of text. Having a separation between each thought isn't just a matter of grammar, it actually makes it easier for us to read something when we aren't rushed from one thought to the next without a pause. Technically I use run on sentences all the time, but I normally try to keep it down to just 2 or 3 thoughts per sentence with commas between them. It's not really a big deal, but sometimes it's better to practice good writing habits early so you don't end up with bad habits later on.

and I don't mean it to look like I'm picking on you, I'm just saying you already seem to have a habit of doing that from looking at your other posts and comments.

no man redpanda you are wrong because the concept of having an extremely long thought involving more than three points don't need periods because if they can interpret what they want however they want this isn't school man why should I practice writing its not like its going to get me a job or anything its just silly little figures all lined up in a row that mean something and when you put them together they make a fluent message that gives a point to something that means or has meaning.
