This can be deleted or left for me to actually do something with the canvas later. Doesn't matter.

Need to shade...but I wanted to do something with this canvas

There ya go, it's done, no more wasted canvas space

MLA-Kun: Wasn't the SA that I edited it because of, I just didn't like how the picture (pose, coloring) etc. was coming out. ^_^;;
MLA-Kun (Aug 30, 2004)
?? You've restarted the whole pic?

Dont be afraid, there's a lot of SA lovers here I think ^^ And the picture is good, but I liked the previous better ^^

Um.
quintessence (Aug 1, 2004)
...no clue. None. She looks like a Mexican elf who slept with a mafia member and stole his hat.

yeah, you DO have a great style quint, this is good
Harmanye (Aug 1, 2004)
Cor, this is great! The dotty things in the background, the shading. Yeah, the overall style of it is wonderful.

My favorite part is the hair, hands down.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Aug 1, 2004)
I love the colors you used... especially the hair. My kids had a babysitter that dyed her hair with koolaid once (grape I think) and her hair was close to that color. I think she looks like a hip Indian Princess. Like a modern-day Pocahontas.
davincipoppalag (Aug 2, 2004)
This is very nice. She looks like a Peruvian princess

Mipunai (Aug 17, 2004)
I love the eyes X3
LisaAnne (Aug 11, 2005)
Fiona Apple?
Love the eyes.
Your work is beautiful.
KH44N (Aug 11, 2005)
Damn... the hair and the eyes look amazing! It looks somewhat real.

Yeah.
Glass.
XD

Gotta get ready for churchy stuff... ... I think I'll go and get my clothes out of the dryer. If the stupid thing has been so kind as to actually DRY them. Instead of the door popping open and the dryer doing it's darned hardest to spit them out.
Oh sure, the washer will take'em when they're DIRTY. But the dryer would have anything to do witht hem just because they're a bit SOGGY.

Aw. Shucks. Out of space. And I do hate asking for space on the beginners board --;;

But yeah, 'tis pretty plain in the background.

Thank you though, Knockoff :) Maybe I'll try it again, now that I know I can do it... well... moderately well XD :)
davincipoppalag (Aug 2, 2004)
I usually give my appliances a 'time-out" when they won't behave. Once in awhile I have to threaten the dryer that I won't clean out the lint trap. That usually works. This is very nice.
thesolarwinds (Aug 2, 2004)
this is beautiful, thanks for the comment. :), so amazing.
ironoxide_red (Aug 6, 2004)
Very nice reflections in the orb. If your clothes aren't dry when you need them you can (almost) always iron them!

I love dolphins (especially of the bottle-nose variety), and yet I've never drawn one in any oekaki before.
I quite like this.

*pokes timer* Eh ^^;;
Heh... Forgive my impatience.

I'm not sure about the bubbles in the front but.. eh.

P.S.
Main incentive to draw this was a wonderfully done shark in the Showcase.
When I see a 'Shark', I usually think 'Dolphin!'
Weird association, I know....

Hah, n.n Seeing as how copy-paste isn't possible, I guess I must have.
Though it surprised me, to be sure....

Thanks :D

And thank you Grandma... although I doubt you'll be reading this... XD
thug (Aug 1, 2004)
Wow, I just saw this. Thanx for the credit. I love to draw underwater pictures. This one is beautiful. Dolphins rule!
laurael (Aug 1, 2004)
Wow, you did fantastic with this. The light on the dolphin is wonderfully done...great job!

Wow, that's pretty freaky 0.0

Reminds me of a Aliens VS Preds thing.

There's something about it that's a bit unpolished. I think the bleeding of the colours in some place (FX, the light colours around the lineart is many places. I can only assume that's from over-liberal use of the blur tool) sort of detracts from it.

Anyhow. The blood around it's mouth is pretty cool, too.
kouroji (Aug 1, 2004)
yes,I kinda over used the blur tool -.-

My Naruto OC, Yuki.
[sarcasm]I don't think I put enough blood.[/sarcasm]
(You've gotta love fake tags. XD)

The blood spatters are so wonderfully done. And the shading appeals to me. As does the pose.

Poor kid...

Very cool way to do one, Aubrey. I enjoyed this a lot. Nice, crisp lines to it. Oh, and feel very sorry for Hakkai, while gloating with my dsl connection that took .5 seconds for each panel to load. Nanny nanny boo boo!
laurael (Aug 1, 2004)
Very funny, Aubrey! I'm glad you had all that patience to do this...it was great to go from v to v.
BADICAPO (edited Dec 9, 2004)
That is neat. I gotta try that when I get better. That was funny:0
Asridaein (Feb 16, 2005)
This is hilarious, I've got to show it to my sister, she'd so totally crack up! Great little animation thing going, its really cool.

This style works for you , too. I'm guessing there's not much you can't draw. Really interesting piece here.
laurael (Aug 1, 2004)
This is a great technique for you also...awesome job with this.
metalhead8363 (Aug 13, 2004)

I also admire beauty/female or male. I love to draw beautiful women, which I am happily married to a man for over 23 years and been together for 33. She is incredibly beautiful and you did a wonderful job drawing her and bringing her beauty to us. Thank you and congratulations on your Showcase!
