it's a kitty girl, and a guy (he looks kinda femmie, that's the problem when you draw girls for so long). i apologize for the lineart in advance, i can't seem to get nice, smooth lines with the pen tool >_<

Well um...the background is kinda crappy...sorry. But, hey, I don't think the dude turned out too bad considering this is like my, what, second time using one of these boards? So yeah...any helpful pointers would be loved.

Well... For one thing, the shoulders are a bit flat.
They should be like a bumpy coat hanger, rather than a plank upon which sits the neck ^^;

Other than that?
Hm...
Well, a good thing would be to remember that shadows appear even where there is not outline showing a fold.

Beyond that I've no specific pointers.
Just keep at it, and you'll soon get the hang of it! :D

BLECH! I was kicked off the comp for a solid HOUR while I was doing this! :-P It took about an hour, mainly because of all the line shading. well, uh, enjoy!

i couldn't think of an idea for a shirt, so no shirt for now! i think his hair is my favourite part. oh, and the time is off by about an hour....
it's soooo hard to draw guys when your used to drawing girls, they turn out so femmie >_<*

completely changed the colouring on him. i liked how loogie coloured the guy's hair in our collab, so i changed hime to blonde. i'm to lazy to take the time to cell-shade him again right now, so it looks kinda sketchy, i'll finish him when i have the time.

Any idea's on colour schemes?
I thought maybe really reflective metal... Or maybe just Gradients of colours?

Hair and Oakaki

Ok couple questions-first-I know this has been asked before and many times before that-but has anyone figured out how to get rid of the little white horizontal lines that appear on your picture in Oekaki Shi-Painter when you scroll up and down? Or is my computer just messed up? Second, does anyone have any tips on hair? For example, realistic hair like Gig's Legolas or the cool shiny effect in all of ToraNeko's pics? Any response to this is greatly appriciated-thanks you guys
