Well Booo i was enjoying drawing this but I saved it and totally ran out of room grrr ohh well.... its pretty unfinished but I sort of like it in a rough and ready kind of way.

I had a lot of fun looking at all the funny gnomes. Everyone did a great job last week. I usually decide on a contest idea and then write a story about it to help inspire people who arent sure how to approach the contest. But I decided to open it up a little and get help from real writers! This weeks contest is: Contest Week 4: Choose your own adventure!: Illustrate a scene or idea from your favorite book! I've known people that will say that the term "artist" should only be used for a "true artist" and that quality is a factor, and that it makes the word into something cheap when it's used to describe anybody who mades an image (the same way I can make a cabinet but that doesn't make me a carpenter). I've also known people on the other extreme that will say that art is anything someone makes, even if it were just a single line on a sheet of paper, and therefore anyone that makes images is an arti...

just a rough sketch. Oh, the angst! :P~hey does anyone have a good reference pic for me? I need one of a girl's head "thrown back", like as if she's crying out to the sky or something. or even just looking at the sky. whatever. I am horrible at that angle, and I can't seem to successfully google any reference pics. help! >.<

Thats hot ~ as PAris hilton would say....I love it...it blows my mind cuz my brain put like the lines where it should be to show her legs and stuff but that is awesome kudos to you Brilliant and creative who woulda thought? okay im talking too much but i really do think that is awesome

Hehe, Home Improvement, I was just watching couple episodes of that yesterday :) (I think I've also seen enough angles of Wilson's face that I know what his face looks like too lol). Like thug said, I like how it looks like jack-o-lantern with the glowing effect you got this going in. If you're experienced with carving pumpkins, you should go ahead and do this one this year ;). Hehe, just can't get enough of that expression on his face (the one you captured so well)...

There are a bit too much (to me, anyway) of comments that say "wow" and "awesome" and the occasional "glomps". While my point is NOT the "rules about comments" (DON'T try to argue with me) the praise is meaningless now. any picture thats any good or if its anime gets all these comments all the time. now praise seems to mean practically nothing. What's your opinion?
