wow I thought I had lost this one, a glitch almost put this poor pooch into cyberspace...well I am finished at last after moments of not knowing whether the little guy was going to publish or not. I must say a hearty thank you to Marcello for getting the glitches worked out so I could finish. And I also need to thank Zan 61, a talented photographer from which this pic was done from. Well this was fun for me to do, experimenting with the effects, not intending to be "realistic" but rather "stylized" again taking a bit of artistic liscence here and adding a few things and deleting a few things in order to get a composition with the "right feel" to it! again david hope you enjoy, I did, you are a gifted photographer and this is a "gift" for you!

got a ways to go. Not feeling very good right now. Had another idea or two but I figured I'd finish this one for it since I started it. prolly coulda done more but geez I think it is pretty good for some one who's starting to get rusty. LOL :D

Holy Moly how did I miss this one. It does look just like a photograph - wow and it didn't take you very long to draw this either - man I'd love to have one ounce of your talent. I hope you get paid for your talent because you could make some serious cash.

Contest Week 72: Dragons closed for judging Cultures all over the world have legends about dragons. They appear in Europe, the Middle East, China, Japan, etc. There's also many ways they've been depicted. The term Drakon from ancient Greek meant a huge serpent, and various other cultures have both serpent-like and even feathered dragons. Gettng the hang of it so fast Star, and I see you've gotten a love for the sharp tool. You and Miss DJ should talk.The eye though seems oddly placed. Makes it look.... wierd. I feel it should be up and closer to the beak. But hey, good piece.

You should be a professional artist the way you put these things out. I can't keep up with them. Somehow I missed this one and tought the last one you did was the only one I didn't see. The parchment and the way it curls really adds to this. I don't know what the sharp tool is I will have to see if I can find it next time I draw. What applet do you use to do these Starz? Is it the Lasaux? It is the one I liked before I joined another site and they didn't have it and I started using the shi-painter (not the pro) Now I am more used to that one.

Your really getting good at this. Though I wish it wasn't so chalky and a little smoother. And those sharp leaves seem like an afterthought. Still, kee going.

I just noticed your icon pic and was curious to see what it looked like upclose. Cool! I love how vivid the colors are in this picture, it makes it so life-like. I've seen your other drawings of birds and I think this one is by far the best one. I don't think I could have done this in 20 hours, great job girl!
