I LOOOUURVE IT!!! I really like the lack of color, but that night be because it is hard to picture it any other way.... it reminds me of newspaper.... O_o

you people might like it without color, but believe me, it'll look 10x better with decent coloring.

Ok, she's colored now. ^_^ I think the skin got a bit killed. -_-;; The bg is quite plain but I really like it ^_^

Eee. It does[/b/ look so much better with colors. It did look a bit dead, with the grey, but it looks very nice, now. The simple background makes the picture more appealing, as it doesn't distract from the subject. Great work, especially now. ^_^

aww! i like them! but one questoin, wasn't there a basilisk in harry potter? wasn't that a snake? but i love this! i like the way you made everything come together, good job.

i'm currently re-reading the series so i was inspired...

and icybluecub: yes there was a basilisk in HP, and yes it was a big snake creature.

as mythological creatures go, since there is no reality to base it on, individual writers tend to take liberties on their view of what the animal is.

rowling decided she wanted a big snake, and pierce decided she wanted a man-sized lizard-like creature.

i find it interesting though that rowling's basilisk could petrify with a glance, and pierce's could render things into stone with a special noise. obviously both authors based their individual creatures on some centering legend to get those similarities...

I'm going visit relitives for about week (from jul. 31st to aug. 10) so I'm probably not able to draw because other people need to use the computer for work and stuff, so I don't have / get enough time to use the computer to draw, but I'll be able to comment................. see ya!! ok..done..i know the bg it simply colored...er..its simple..but its fitting..i can't think of any other way to..well yea whatcha think?

I love the way she's black and white, and everything else is colourful.
It gives the picture feeling.
