EverDream
(Jan 16, 2004)
The Dream lives on!!! Yes...after months I'm back and with great pleasure none to say the least! Due to some technical circumstances I haven't been able to post nor draw on this lovely site for too long a time. Any way, ever really thought of what angels may look like? I have. Enjoy! :D
Look (Jan 25, 2004)
The lighting is awesome! And especially the transparencies, make her a little bit ghosty there. It's so beautiful!
Darknightstar (Jan 28, 2004)

I started with the eyes on top and then I was going to make it an eagle, but then I got bored of that so I decided to make a man underneath wearing the eagle as a hat. I figured that had some sort of historical reference to Mayans, Inca, or Aztecs (but I don't know which), but then I decided I didn't feel like that either. So, I outfitted him with traditional Robin Hood attire, and gave him a caucasion complexion. Then for fun I added extra horns. Thats what makes it look like a hippogryph hat.
emmamommalag (Jul 17, 2004)
Great picture and I loved reading how it came about almost as much as the picture itself. :)
davincipoppalag (Jul 18, 2004)
This looks like an illustration from a novel about vikings. This is completely different in style than your others. I like this .
staci (Jul 18, 2004)
this is a great colorful rendition of a caucasian wearing a eagle hat..but is his spear tucked behind his ear?thats amazing
DinoFlorist (Jul 18, 2004)
actually its going through his head, killing him instantly. I just have problems drawing things with any sort of perspective or logical relation. |

You were turned to crap and they STILL ate you? People in Arizona sound weird!
Shadow-sama (Jul 18, 2004)
...they aren't...some ppl are just western ne?
Zack (Jul 18, 2004)
You're insulted that you lived there for a while? Sounds like a tough situation. They speak Japanese in Arizona?Nice Happy Gilmore reference, Dino, hehe.
Shiek (Jul 18, 2004)
Oh yeah, most people in Arizona will speak anything you want them to.. for a price. |

Life is a wonderful thing.
Zack (Jul 18, 2004)
Actually, I love Math, and his brother Logic. They are good friends of mine.Once, my little brother left an extra-credit math puzzle in my car. It showed a large square made of smaller squares, each of which was a different size. It gave you only the size of the square in the middle and asked if it was possible to get the size of the whole thing (the proportions were intentionally distorted a little so that you couldn't use a ruler). I showed it to a friend who had already graduated and was teaching high school math, and he said it wasn't possible. But I persisted that it was, and figured it out a few weeks later. I'm flattered that this reminds anyone of Icat's work. It was just a doodle before I went to bed. Maybe soon I'll do a "for real" sky.
staci (Jul 18, 2004)
whatchoo talkin bout willis?this is a very 'for real' sky... the tree has great form and detail; in my opinion it couldnt get any better, even if you spent 3 hours on it its very painterly and quickies are the best sometimes
LEELEE (Jul 18, 2004)
I love this!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 18, 2004)
I love this. I still like to lie lay on my back (whatever) in the grass or on the beach or wherever and look at the clouds. My daughter and I think this looks like you are in the mountains and looking up at the clouds. I have no idea where Dino got math out of that, but I hate math. Strange thing is I always like ppl who are good at it, though. Wonderful picture. |

They are fascinated with Clem's shiny cleanness..he just got detailed at the mudskipper wash..
Aubrey (Jul 2, 2004)
Looks like she's hoping he'll fall on the stick lol. This is such a cute picture. You can tell he's really happy.
DinoFlorist (Jul 5, 2004)
I think that your mudskipper pictures are your best pictures. That's saying a lot, considering I told you 'zen' was the best one I'd seen on here. But the mudskippers are so imaginitive and great looking. The whole mudskipper tale could be done in a series of drawings or painitngs or a book and the drawings would win a caldecott medal!
emmamommalag (Jul 17, 2004)
Skippy? Clem? Is this a tv show? Whatever it is, these things are cute. :) |

I know it's kinda stupid but it was fun to do... :)You have to watch the animation to see it... :)
Kazukie (edited Mar 6, 2003)

Cordelia_Pink (Jul 16, 2004)
Kazukie, does that say: 'Mad Skills'??!?!?! lol hey this isn't so bad but it would be better if it was a DRAWING though lol
DinoFlorist (Jul 16, 2004)

Another Sad Teddy. Enjoy
Gigge (Jul 16, 2004)
Aww, this is sad. Need to get that teddy into surgery. Looks like he used to get a lot of use.
DinoFlorist (Jul 16, 2004)
This is a good drawing, probably the best one I've seen you do. You do a good job with the light, but if you want to take it one step further, just look aroudn in your room or wherever at beams of light and you'll notice that when it hits the bear, the light is going to spread out based on the surface of the object. In this case, ths light would be hitting the right side of the bear. The seam would probably start to fase back into dark again. You did a cool job with the left arm. THat lighting looks very believable based on what you already illuminated.
Anna (Jul 16, 2004)
I like this a lot, Chibi. (Good info, Dino)
Bumble_Beez (Jul 16, 2004)
That's sad, and the rip where the eye was makes it look like it's crying.. Nice effect : 3 Keep up the good work! |
